Okay so my husband got orders to go to korea how hard would it be to get accompanied orders?

It's very difficult. The majority of tours there are unaccompanied.

Depends on where he's going to be stationed, and his rank. If it's south like Seoul it's a probability. If it's 2ID then forget it. He has to put you on his orders. Korea is considered a unaccompanied tour. Yes you can go, but it will be at your expense, if you have children there is no guarantee that they will get into school. Off post housing is very expensive. I would think twice about it. I went through all this with my second tour there, and my second wife. Not a good deal all the way around if it's not command sponsored. Good luck....

if its the army, its impossible - all tours to korea are unaccompanied - thats why they tend to be shorter in deployment length
