Crime creates jobs for police....

People complain about so many problems with their life but if we didn't have these problems there would be nothing for us to do... many celebrities go insane for this reason. They have money, fame etc... but their life feels so empty.

Ted Haggard, America's leading Christian-right figures and Bush's top political aid in the ban against gay marriage, turns out to be a raging homosexual (and drug abuser). And we have all heard about priests molesting small boys.

Is the Christian-right full of closet homosexuals?

The Washington Post and other reliable news sources have reported that the medical care given to wounded troops at several rehab facilities is substandard. One cited is building 18, right across the street from Walter Reed Hospital. This facility is infested with mice and roaches, and the building is in a state of disrepair. Many troops are also being denied medical and financial benefits and their cases are stuck in the maze of bureaucratic red tape.

As of yesterday, no one from the Bush administration had expressed their outrage, nor did they take any measures to address this critical issue. After hearing this report, Barack Obama, along with a fellow Senator immediately drafted a bill to help these wounded troops. Today, of course, Bush, embarrassed by his inaction, is going through the motions and getting on the bandwagon—a day late and a dollar short. Instead of assuming the role as leader, he took a position as a caboose. So, tell me again how much he supports the troops?

Ladies,

Did you ever notice how many of us have all three, yet it's virtually impossible to find a woman who is a Liberal Democrat who is educated, beautiful and wealthy?

For instance, several that I know are degreed (of course not to the extent that I am), but most tend to look like Amanda Marcotte, are more masculine than their husbands, and are broke all of the time.

How can they stand it?

Jessica

It seems to be a cool and convenient opinion for the young Euros to come on this board and bash America. I take huge offense to this....for personal reasons. Mainly, my grandfather came home from WW2 an alcoholic asshole because he couldn't get over all the killing he did to save Europe.

Have you Euros forgotten so easily? If not for the Unites States, you'd be speaking German under communist control. Why don't you look up how many Americans lost their lives defending your continent? Not to mention, it was your war....not ours.

You may find it easy and fun to bash America over the Middle East and Iraq. However, I ask you to understand that 9/11 wasn't long ago. When you get attacked by terrorists and lose over 3000 (many burned to death), well then, maybe you might understand.

God bless my country.....I'm proud to be an American!
