If the true flavour of the nation is what is displayed here then America is in big trouble. Tho I am sure while the partisan exists here, most of the name calling and bravado is for show (easy to be an idiot when you are nameless and faceless) As for the big guys in Washington, I don't think the worst is over as an election looms you will have people in ones own party try and distance themselves with the current administration as which comes with any difficult term in office.

I think once the next election is over you will have that big honeymoon where everyone will be trying to play nice and move the nation forward. But before that happens the troops in Iraq will have to come out. No one will want to see domestic issues back on the front page until this page in history has been turned. Then lets hope its good fights about taxes, health care, education and the elderly. The real at home grass roots issues.

being a war protester is AMERICAN
