At a recent press conference, President Bush was asked about sanctions against Iran. Noticeably nervous, twitchy, and hesitating awkwardly, he responded by saying, "Money . . . trumps . . . peace. . . sometimes." And then he tried to explain. To me (and lots of other people) his explanation made absolutely no sense. Perhaps his comment had a hidden meaning?

In Thomas L.
