Liberals only represent 7% of the military and Republicans represent 60%?

Did Charlie Rangle have his little theory a little bit backwards?

Owned!

If so, why. Explain yourself....because I was raised with the belief that only a true patriot questions his government and protests that which is wrong. (ie. harmful to the people)

Over 700 vets sent home from the hospital that still needed medical care. People not being told about transportation and having to get out in the cold and wheel themselves around the campus in their wheel chairs when there were buses to transport them. VETS coming home from the war and being turned away because there is not more funding. and it just goes on and on and on and on and on. Just saw the story on NBC.

are they just Crocodile Tears since 60% of the military are Republicans and only 7% are Liberals. Since when do Democrats care about our Conservative, White, Southern men? Have they had a transformation, or is their concern just a ruse for political dissension since we know they wished our Conservative, White, Southern men were all dead?

Don't these Liberal Bedwetters realize how transparent they are and that is why the American people do not trust them to occupy the White House, leaving Republicans in control of the Executive Branch for 28 of the last 40 years?

As such, will Republicans continue to expose the Anti-American Liberals until the Draft is reinstituted and some of their kids get out from behind the video games and/or obtain release from Rehab to become real Americans and fight for a change?

Political Party Affiliation

Graph: Republicans Happier than Democrats, IndependentsSome 45% of all Republicans report being very happy, compared with just 30% of Democrats and 29% of independents. This finding has also been around a long time; Republicans have been happier than Democrats every year since the General Social Survey began taking its measurements in 1972. Pew surveys since 1991 also show a partisan gap on happiness; the current 16 percentage point gap is among the largest in Pew surveys, rivaled only by a 17 point gap in February 2003.

Could it be that Republicans are so much happier now because their party controls all the levers of federal power? Not likely. Since 1972, the GOP happiness edge over Democrats has ebbed and flowed in a pattern that appears unrelated to which party is in political power.

For example, Republicans had up to a 10 and 11 percentage point happiness edge over Democrats in various years of both the Carter and Clinton presidencies, and as small as a three and five percentage point edge in various years of the Reagan and first Bush presidencies. Also, we should explain here a bit about how our survey questionnaire was constructed. The question about happiness was posed at the very beginning of the interview, while the question about political affiliation was posed at the back end, along with questions about demographic traits. So respondents were not cued to consider their happiness through the frame of partisan politics. This question is about happiness; it is not a question about happiness with partisan outcomes.

I just saw a story on the news about the baby boomers and how they are having to financial difficuly caring for their ageing parents. WELL H*(* what did you think was going to happen when you were voting for all them republicans and begging for them to cut out the social programs. Guess what, you are getting EXACTLY what you asked for by voting for them. Not enough Medicare, NO prescription coverage, NO Universal health care to care for them. It's exactly what you voted for the last 20 years and now your seeing the real effects of it.

It's now well established that George W. Bush never showed up for National Guard duty for a period of approximately one year, possibly more, in 1972-1973. Despite all the talk about "honor and dignity," Bush seems to have a problem meeting his commitments.

Bush says he's released all his records...if that's true, then has anyone seen:

Any pages from Bush's flight log
Records from the Flight Inquiry Board convened after Bush was suspended as a pilot
Any evidence of Bush's reclassification into another AFSC after suspension as a pilot
Any photos of George Bush in a military uniform after 1972
Anything at all from any Alabama unit with Bush's name on it
Any copies of form 44a from the Alabama National Guard certifying attendance
Air Force Form 142 (Aviation Service Audit Worksheet)
Anything proving service (not just receipt of pay) by Bush between May 1972 and May 1973?
