I am 17 and tried to buy Gears of War in game stop and this crazy customer said that there is a $100,000.00 fine to any buisness selling an m rated game to a minor. The only state with any kind of law like this I believe is california and I know its not that harsh of a penalty. Someone tell me in I am wrong, or if the Christian Coalition lady is onto somthing?

Sounds like BS to me.

But I thought that an M-rated game could be sold to people 17 years of age.... doesn't the sticker say 17+ on it?

score a activity interior the 1st place enables agencies who dare to sink low sufficient to make this style of activity to bypass domicile and sleep with a clean ethical experience. in the event that they have a score equipment they open the door to vulgar video games. The Atari 2600 had such video games and that they did no longer have a score equipment lower back then. it relatively is irrelavent to have a score equipment interior the 1st place and that i say that through fact little bobby will consistently borrow the activity from their older brother who rented it while bobby mentioned "i will provide 5 greenbacks in case you lease me this activity." that's like a minor talking a grown up into finding out to purchase them cigarettes.

i dont know but i hate censorship. ******* nazi's put ratings on games and sue you if you sell it to someone. for years i couldnt see a decent movie or buy a ******* cd without an adult because of that nazi whore tipper gore.

to all you christian bible ******* and peopel who think the ESRB needs to be harsher. this is from the people of America who's brains actually function:

you are no better than Adolf Hitler himself. Hitler burned books and ban movies because they didint agree with his ideas. Ever read 1984 by George Orwell? your just like big brother. Stalin also had censorship rules does that make you a communist? i know how much you hate being compared to the dirty commies. and the book farenheit451 also described your kind. your all ******* nazi's and need to grow the hell up.

**** ALL OF YOU

and dude i dont think there is a huge fine i think that ***** was trying to make you a braindead zombie so some preacher could **** you and then cry about it on TV.
