What are your thoughts on patrol men? Minutemen? Should America build a huge wall instead? On your marks, get set, go! ;)

For the 10th time I observed a "I support the troops" decal on a SUV. A 50 year old driver with two sons around 24 to 26. "AND" for the 10th time I took it off a vehicle. Why? Because after I said thanks for supporting the troops ( Yes he smiled ) I ask him to send his children to the war zone. ( His smile went sour ) He said "No way will my smart kids go into a war zone! I only support the war if my kids don't have to fight. We're too rich! We don't need the military in our families. We have money!" I ask the young men. They said "Heck NO! We like to Party!" Then the youngest said "What! There is still a War?".....So after they went into the restaurant I took my 10th decal. You see...I can't let them live a lie. ( This happened in Mt Clemens Michigan at the Big Boy restaurant about two hours ago)

If you're pro-gun control, where would you draw the line? What
sorts of weapons should people be allowed to have? or to
carry? Should we all live in the departure lounge at an airport
w/o finger nail clippers and razors?

If you're anti-gun control, should folks freely trade in fully automatic weapons, grenades, poisons of various sorts?
What should be regulated? How? Should we all escalate as
much as possible to mutually assured...chaos?

Do you believe there will ever be another circumstance where the President would take personal command of our soldiers in the battlefield? Or do you think that advanced training for soldiers, combined with advanced weapons and satellite technology will prevent this situation from ever happening?

To my knowledge, this has only happened twice. President Washington did this when he led his troops against the Whiskey Rebellion, and President Madison did it when Washington, D.C. came under fire in during the war of 1812.

Does anyone believe it will ever happen again?

Personally I wouldn't. My brother does construction and KNOWS that the work that they do is substandard.

There is a reason that they can build houses three times faster, and it's not because they are better.

I think we should pay for this war right now, with fiscal year by year taxes, so the baby boomers cannot stick their children and grandchildren with this boondoggle crippling bill. Why not pay right up front? That is the conservative course.

Wouldn't it be great if Hillary could somehow persuade Newt Gingrich to be her running mate? Obama could be Secretary of State. Great unifying team. Opinions?

a mere 12 years after the repubs had a political victory in 1877, they had to resort to stuffing ballots to win the presidency, why do you think this is?

I know what the antiques dealer is trying to say that putting a homless man in front of a high class antiques shop is going to make him loose business. I wouldn't have spent that much money because the homeless man is telling me that I don't really need this expensive stuff, especially since this man doesn't have a job or a home and I do.

But exactly how is this man suposed to pay 1 mil if he can't afford it? They can't take nothing away from him and/or make him sell it. He has nothing?

Sure he could get a job but, it won't be enough. Minimum wage won't be able to pay of 1 mil.

Maybe he could have thought of another solution.

A Commander-in-Chief is the commander of a nation's military forces or significant element of those forces. In the latter case, the force element may be defined as those forces within a particular region or those forces which are associated by function. As a practical term it refers to the military competencies which reside in a nation-state's executive, head of state or government. Often a given country's Commander-in-Chief need not be or have been a commissioned officer or even a veteran, and it is by this legal statute that civilian control of the military is realized in states where it is constitutionally required

Make Jerusalem into an open and international city. It would be owned by no one, and policed by a large, international force.
What do you think?

The commission was mostly a public relations exercise. Why did Bush oppose an investigation? Why did Bush refuse to testify under oath? Why did he refuse to testify unless Cheney was present?

What do you truly feel about this, and if she wins will you support her as President on her merits? Or will you bash her because she is a woman? The fact that you may or may not be a Democrat is that going to make a difference if she becomes the Commander and Chief? She is not there yet but if she gets there will you have an optimistic outlook? Or will you be prejudice? Or you stand mute?
