It is a far better situation than when I was drafted along with thousands of other guys and sent to Southeast Asia where I did what I was told to do only to be jeered and discriminated against when I came back to the "World". I had scumbag protesters trash my dress greens with paint, oil, rotten vegetables, and chicken guts in Oakland, California. Going to college on active duty required me to change out of my uniform to avoid being harassed and/or attacked on college campus. I stayed in the military because I married an Asian gal and didn't fit back home anymore with a "****" wife. When I retired I had to find a new home and start all over again. Now I am a double dipper and hated for having a pension, disability, and a paycheck for working in a second career. Maybe I should have dodged the draft, went to Canada, got pardoned by Jimmy Carter, and came back home to live on welfare and been a "Good American".
Ask your buddy if he was a hippie back in the 70's and if he was don't bother removing the sticker. Kick him in his gonads for me!

that is wrong of you, yet i see your point... what on earth are you doing with these decals? if you are throwing them away someone should kick your a**... having them be on a car who doesnt actually support is better than having them in the trash.. at least the public remembers the troops as they see the decals.. have you been to any kind of war?.. have you even been in any military branch?.. i would not want my kids to fight in the war, but i sure as hell would support them... noone wants their child in harms way.... but every soldier is someones child.

Personally, I think your whole dissertation is load of steaming cow manure. People like you are big free speech supporters, but you choose to deny this person his right by removing that "I Support the Troops" decal. Technically you have destroyed anothers personal property and that is a crime, but I would be satisfied with kicking your butt up between your shoulder blades.

GOOD FOR YOU!!! While I don't advocate stealing, I admire your views. I too get so tired of people saying they support the troops, but with all except their own children. Why doesn't the President encourage his own daughters to join the fight, or any other politician for that matter?
Because I don't support the war, but support the troops, I am told to "love it or leave it." I love my country and am appalled by what is happening to it these days. I pay taxes, have for years, I volunteer for clean-up days, have friends who fought in other military actions, etc. Why are we, you and I, not entitled to our opinions, just like everyone else?
Support the troops, not the war! But, don't be a hypocrite about it.

Number one. You are a troll.
Number two. When you are over 18, you make your own decisions.
Number three. The military has all volunteers and there is no draft.
Number four. Guys are dying for the right to speak your mind, but not for the right for you to defile private property and free speech rights.
Number five. If I caught you around my vehicle messing with it, I would first attempt to allow you to take the first swing at me so I could legally beat the crap out of you.

I understand your frustration but you went about it all wrong!
Being the wife of a Career Soldier - who has served in Iraq - it infuriates me when people claim to support the war... but know nothing about it!
However, it bothers me even more when the very freedom my husband is defending... is being misconstrued.
The first amendment gives the Freedom of Speech!
No where in the Constitution does it say - "Freedom of Speech - as long as you have the proper information or facts"
Therefore - breaking the law and stealing the decal is actually hurting the cause!

Wow, now you've started recycling your posts filled with lies.
Defacing another person's property is trespassing, and destruction of private property. Keep your cotton-picking hands off, erudite.
You are such a complete troll.
