I'm as egalitarian as I can be, given what I know of life. Yes, even social science confirms our suspicions that there are NATURAL differences between men and women, on a GENERAL level.
I think that if a woman is going to be President, she needs to be able to handle crisis "like a man". This means, the woman must be able to think clearly, not even bother to cry, etc., even her own family is held hostage.
I don't know very many women, if any, who can do this.
Can Clinton? Maybe. She handled her husband's affair well enough, I think. IF she didn't in fact create that just so she could coast on the fame she received.
But generally, no, I would never vote a female into office, and I won't even work for one. I've never had a female boss or even teacher who led well, and without being sensitive.

any advice will be appreciated, this is a serious case. im trying to help my neighbor. her husband cheated on her and when she found out through his conversation with the other one, he beat her 6month pregnant wife and dragged her out of his office. she didnt report because she is afraid, he has posession of weapon. she put a restraining order a week later and police took him out of the house, he's staying at his parents house. she changed the locks but still scared. she took video of the bruises that he gave her but i think she will need more evidence than that, and he wants custody of their 7 year old. she needs to find evidence that he was cheating on her, he also cut the phone service but she'll try to ask for last month's bill. he closed all the bank accounts, and she's living out of credit cards only and the defendant's (husband) mother found a lawyer for her and is paying for it but that is too fishy. she's goign to state attorneys next week and find her own attorney.

It’s a pretty good chance that a democrat will win the white house in 2008.
Who will be better to run for president? Barack Obama, Hilary Clinton or John Edwards?

Those big fat cat radio stations expect us to pay for our time. If we use tax money we wont have to depend on advertising money and without commercials we will have more time to talk. Its a win-win situation.

There are currently a large number of soldiers still in Germany. Is there still a reason for this to happen? A Brigade will shortly be moving from Germany to the UK but this still leaves three Brigades in Germany. What are our troops still doing there?

Verizon warned me that someone had a phone in my name in a city where I do not live and do not have relatives. Someone called me last night from Florida and informed me that an unidentified person was using my personal information to make purchases. Several years ago, someone ordered flowers in my name at a florist shop in Montana--a place I have never been to--and that person apparently did not have the funds to cover a check written. I do not have contacts in these places, yet someone claiming to be me uses my information just as easily as if it were me. Enough is enough. What do I do America?

He has already served in the Marine Corps. for 4 years (we were not dating at the time so this is all new to me) and he has just re-enlisted. I want to get him something that he will really appreciate, but something unique. Ideas from everyone, but especially service men would be greatly appreciated.

I am considering putting out a warrant for arrest on my daughter's dad because he is refusing to pay child support. He is an alcoholic but he still manages to pay his own bills. He has even lied to my daughter about sending child support when he did not even send it. He is now 2 months behind.

I'm curious, does Hillary Clinton support gay marriage, condemn it, or is she somewhere in the middle allowing "civil unions"? Also, does she support abortion?

I truly don't understand this. Why didn't we just invade the north. There is no way that they could have halted an organized assault on their capital.

What gives?

"U.S. Senator Johnny Isakson (R-Ga.) today introduced legislation to require that the first step of comprehensive immigration reform be to secure the U.S. borders. His legislation also spells out in detail the increased manpower, equipment and technology necessary to stop the flood of illegal immigrants into our country.

Isakson’s legislation would prohibit implementation of its guest worker program until the Department of Homeland Security certifies to the President and to the Congress that the border security provisions in the immigration legislation are fully funded and operational.

Those border security provisions that must be in place before a guest worker program can begin are spelled out in Isakson’s bill and they include five main items:
