You need a bachelor's degree. Associates is possible for the Army, but extremely rare.

For the Air Force, there basically four types of commission:

1. Direct Commission - you have a four-year degree, take the Air Force Officer Qualifying Test (AFOQT) test, then get accepted into Officer Training School (OTS).

2. There's the Air Force Academy (check out the link below).

3. There's ROTC. You go to school and during college summer break you get your military training. Found out more check out the link below.

4. There's enlistment. Where you join the Air Force as an enlistee, get your four-year degree, and then applied for an airman to officer commissing programs through different types of competitive programs.

A fifth way is get a degree a nursing, lawyer, doctor, or some other types of medical degree.

You either enter with a college degree or you work you way up the line. What an issultive remark to ask if you need a bra! That attitude in the Air Force will let you spend days in the brig or a dishonorable discharge I hope, if you can even pass muster to join the military.

If it's like the Army, you have to have at least a BA/BS.
