Yes. Absolutely yes. The vision 2020 and other thought provoking philosophies require at least another term of office for him. He is a real Philosopher King of present age.

Dr.. Kalam is the first Indian President to communicate with Indian nitwits in a public forum ... YAHOO answers. That alone is commendable and sets a great example. Which other world leader had the vision to use the power of the web in such a novel fashion? Dr. Kalam forever.

I would like to see Dr. A.P.J. Abdul Kalam continuing as the President of India not only for another term but for a lot more future terms, subject to his willingness. I sincerely wish that our elected representatives, who elect the President of India, would come out of their narrow political confines and elect him to more terms in accordance with the aspirations and wishes of the people at large.
He is apolitical and hence is not swayed by narrow political compulsions. Coming from a career of high end scientific research, he is rational to the core. Sympathetic, kind, polite, unpretentious, simple and down to earth by nature, he is every inch the people's president, the ones we love to have as national leaders in a democratic setup. His demeanour reminds me of Dr. S. Radhakrishnan.
He truly recognises India's future in her children and youth. So he misses no opportunity to interact with them and exhort them to higher ideals. Few presidents in the past have had the time or inclination to answer questions from school children. In this respect Dr. Kalam is definitely an exception.
Sitting in a seat of high power, he gives short shrift to all ostentations and trappings of power. He tries his best to be with the people in distress from any part of the country. People's opinion count highly in his decision making process as is evident from the question on terrorism that he has posted in Yahoo! Answers.
With Dr. Kalam as our President, I only wish that the Constitution of India had given the President greater powers. It would have made him more effective and helped him serve the people of India in a much better way.

Yes, he should. Otherwise some political Big Wig would occupy that post and Rasthrapati Bhavan would, as it was previously, become a party office. Dr. Kalam has erred in signing some papers at midnight, when he was in Moscow. We can forget it. Former Presidents used to sign papers in the bathroom.

he has his qualities to be re-elected. but trouble is he is 'misfit' in jungle of bad politicians. he should quit the post at the end of term, better he returns to 'science' to serve India in a better way.

No, he should not be continued though he may be an ornament and a weapon and also a pride
to the nation. he should be replaced with another scholarly man for we have people with ample talents unlimited longing for an oppurtinity to manifest their talents.
