Yes its true.If employers were really prosecuted there would be no jobs for illegals. Most employers pay less to illegals, which deprives American workers who are trying to support their family's AND PAY TAXES of jobs.Must we be unemployed so illegals can work? What are politicians thinking?Illegal immigration is wrecking OUR country!

See, that's the beauty of generalizing. I take it, logically, you are an illegal American(which doesn't exist, by the way)? I am a legal American. Proud to say I was born and bred in the USA. Sorry about the rhyme thing. I don't want employers and landlords prosecuted. So, I guess not all "legal" Americans want that. I just want everyone to abide by the law. What's wrong with that? Nothing. There are legal ways to become naturalized. There are legal ways of working here. I think there should be less restrictions on immigration, but there needs to be some controls. See, if we went into someplace like Mexico and acted like some of the Mexicans who come up here do, not all, but some. We would be jailed, or deported post haste. We wouldn't get away with what some illegal aliens get away with down there. Look up the Mexican Constitution. See what it states. I don't believe we should have a wall, but my mother-in-laws parents came here from Spain. They did so legally. They got their citizenship papers and were naturalized. My family's been here generations, so even I can't say how long. I think you better not generalize about a group of people. You reach false conclusions and that is generally also considered BIGOTRY.

absoulty, and this should have started in the 70's then we would not have this big of a problem today, this includes all illeagals, wether from south, north or across the oceans no matter who they are or where they come from. Get rid of the aminstey for political visitors too, they are subject to the laws of the land too, no more breaks. Lock them up if they break the law no matter who they may be.

Maybe we should start by defining the word 'illegal' for them. So now is it illegal (but ok) if we run over school kids in the cross walk, break into peoples houses and not pay taxes?

Always dangerous to use the word "ALL." You cannot get the discussion you seek, because of course not all Americans want anything, so, unfortunately, your question goes to the wayside. We are a diverse population, with different experiences and world views.

I agree, but I have not heard many here going after the most Republican criminals who employ illegals! They would rather go after the wrong people.
No jobs, far less illegals!
