I am considering putting out a warrant for arrest on my daughter's dad because he is refusing to pay child support. He is an alcoholic but he still manages to pay his own bills. He has even lied to my daughter about sending child support when he did not even send it. He is now 2 months behind.

depends on what state you are in and without sounding in ANY way cruel, 2 months is nothing......I have been without it for the past 3 years............nice arrears but the worse that he has had has been removal of his drivers license [yeah like that worked]

YOU can not put the warrant out by the way it has to be the child support office, and again 2 months does not really count, know of one lady that is in the region of 11 years and they MIGHT occasionally get hold of him and hold him over for a night or two and that's about it.

Sorry

Matt, though u elude to give the whole story, its hard 4 me to give you the best possible way to resolve your situation. I applaud your efforts 2 seek out HELP for your situation but that "one thing you didn't do for the Courts" that you mentioned is the very key, that you need to mention, so that you get the proper answer to truly help you... As for the courts to say that, "You can't have anymore children." They have that jurisdiction over you simply because of the reason they terminated your parental rights & you didn't comply/complete all there recommendations. Therefore, you are where you are 2day. Now as 4 the situation with this new woman. What kind of relationship would this be(?) If you withheld this important issue a secret and she found out about it b4 u could explain, and it abruptly ended, leaving you alone. This wouldn't b fair 2 the 2 of u or 2 your building a strong relationship. Sure honestly hurts at some point in our lives, but Sincerity & Honesty is what builds a Strong relationship that usually becomes a sincere Love for another humam being.

2 months????????, my dad didn't pay for like 12 years and never was my mother hateful enough to try to have him arrested.

She got her stuff together and raised us herself, until she remarried.
