I was dating a girl and she was a little loopy and wanted out of the realtionship. The way she did it is to say that when I gave her child a (slight) spanking that I beat the hell out of him. Thus me being charged with misdemeanor domestic assault. Now I want to know if I could have this expunged and own a gun to hunt with in MN? I have been denied employment because of this also.

Dont get me wrong, im not exactly in love with our current president.... but i am sick of people blaming everything on him. How quickly we go to the polls and vote for him, but as soon as one thing goes wrong we turn on him. People need to remember everything he does "wrong" is a direct result of them voting for him. maybe we shouldnt blame the president.... but instead blame ourselves for putting him in power... twice.

Illegal immigrants are a drain on our country's public resources. The jobs they fill would otherwise be performed by our native poor, and with a shrinking labor pool wages for such jobs would increase. As for the $20 head of lettuce nonsense that is piped by so many: With better wages paid to native workers in many industries, consumer prices may rise modestly, but be more than offset by gains made by poor Americans, who don't send their money abroad.
Illegal immigrants don't hurt the economy of the rich, but they most decidedly hurt wages and job opportunities of the poor native born, mostly white and black. In addition, they degrade and exhaust tax-supplemented resources that serve poor and middle class americans, like public education, health care and infrastructure.
What do they deserve? Nothing, the better question is what do we as Americans and taxpayers deserve? We deserve much more, and we get much less in large part because of the glut of poor, undereducated illegals.

I mean i just head some pathetic person say as part of his reasons why "The USA is better than the UK", he said, "Shoot me, oh no wait, you losers aren't aloud guns hAHAHAH".

I mean, wouldn't you prefer a country where there are no guns - unless you're a x-convict on the loose, the only guns in the UK, are at airports with anti-terror units, and guns on the street are illegally imported, Has this person no knowledge of the high guncrime rates in the US, that people can easily have their heads blown off on the street, well that pathetic person has let down americans, put it this way, a society without guns is better, better than a place where you can get a gun when your 16 WITHOUT A LISCENCE (some states), You don't need a gun if your enemy hasn't one, so this un-educated person doesn't know that a place without guns is better - for normal civilised people like me, maybe not for people who escaped from prison!

Several recent incidents in which dogs have mauled or killed children have highlighted the irresponsible way in which some people keep vicious dogs.

Before people keep dogs, they ought to be trained. We train people, and then require them to pass a test, before they drive a car. Surely keeping a dog is at least as much a responsibility?

Owners could be required to microchip and register their dog. There could be a Dog Owners' Code, e.g. identifying what dog is suitable in a given house and for a given purpose. Contravening the Dog Owner's Code would be an offence, and punishment could include revoking the Dog Owner's Licence. Dog wardens or the police could impound, and if necessary shoot, unlicenced dogs or ones out of control.

The scheme would be self-funding from licence fees.

In general I want fewer, not more, regulations; but surely children have rights not to be attacked by dogs and we all have a duty to ensure that the dogs themselves are properly treated.

Can we "will" ourselves to victory over an IDEA?

What the most intelligent way to overcome a complex problem?

Try to understand all the cause and effect relationships and then systematically work to negate each one?

Or just blindly declare "war" on everything that represents the IDEA that you are fighting against and hope that with enough "will" you can just destroy all of it and it will all go away?
