I know I would make a great detective or PI. I would love to work for the police, but without becoming an officer, I wonder if it is even possible.

What do I need to break into this field?

If it doesnt seem likely, what other similar fields would you reccomend?

When a Jewish rabbi complained to the Seattle International Airport about having a Christmas tree on display but no Hanukah menorah, the airport removed the tree, claiming it would reflect on the rabbi's request for next year. The rabbi has said that it was not his intention to have the tree removed; he just wanted the menorah added.

In another story, a Colorado homeowner received threats and was fined by the residential subdivision for hanging a wreath in the shape of a peace sign. Protestors claimed it carried an anti-war message and that it was devisive.

Surely political correctness is at work in both situations, but are there any valid complaints? Is there a better way to handle these situations? What are your thoughts?

Can you help find my ex?

I suddenly thought that if enough people read this, someone might know where this deadbeat dad is.

He quit a job intentionally so his wages couldn't be garnished for child support. Then he disappeared. The child support office doesn't know where he is, so they can't help me.

I have reason to believe he is somewhere around Chassell or Houghton-Hancock, Michigan.

His name is Brian John Komula, age 43 and he owes back child support for his daughter. If anyone knows an address or phone number for this little fraction of a man, please e-mail me the information. No one has to know where I got it and I will turn it over to the child support office and let them take things from there.

Thank you,

Sue

So this guy is obviously crazy. We don't want him in power, the country of Iran doesn't want him in power either. Why is he still there? He lies worse than a politician and really just messes things up! Is there anything he says that flows with the Muslim religeon? Apparently that religeon is so broad with interpretation I guess this is a hard question to answer. I think it would help us Christian's understand why he is doing what he's doing.

I remember they said that there was suspicion of nuclear weapons, but that was not true. I know that there was a dictator to over throw, but isnt that true for so many other countries as well? What was so special about Iraq that the US went there? does it have something to do with Bush senior? Im asking cuz I dont know. Im not trying to stir up trouble. Thanks!

I've been living in my current home with my 4yr old daughter 4 15mths now & I read in the paper yesterday that a paedophile has been living in a house that runs parallel with mine.
All the back gardens are joined & are only seperated by a 5ft fence.
This means any time my daughter was playing in the garden he could have been watching/photographing/videoing her from a bedroom window, it would even have been possible for him 2 speak 2 her over the fence or enter my garden.
My daughters childminder lives 2 doors away from this sicko as her garden also backs on2 our stretch of semi's.
He could have been watching her in either of our gardens.
The police had arrested him 6 months ago 4 a string of 36 attacks on people aged 4yrs -15yrs old, this was over a period of 25yrs.
He was released on bail & no-one in the area knew about it. He has now been found guilty in court & has 2 serve a minimum of 15yrs! -(Not long enough!)
I think we have a right 2 know where these ppl live.
Don't you?

In the City of God there will be a great thunder,
Two brothers will be torn apart by chaos, whilst the fortress endures, the great leader will succumb'
'The third big war will begin when the big city is burning'

- Nostradamus 1654

In the land of God the evil will strike.
The people shall receive many a great blow before they triumph.
Fire and flame shall engulf many, but the evil will be defeated.
Across the sea shall the wrong-doers flee, pursued by sword of justice.

- Nostradamus 1658

Personally I think it is a load of cobblers, as the original French writings were very vague and ambiguous, and can be translated many ways (depending on how you want it to read), but hey it's something to discuss and it's better than the Da Vinci Code...

I work part time as a merchandiser. I took some company posters to recycle at the local tip. An operative at the tip told me I was illegally dumping comercial waste I explained that I was unaware of any wrongdoing I apologised and took my posters away. I asked where I could take them. He did not really answer but took my car registration number and told me I could never return to the tip again. I did not sign anything or give my name but I think there is some CCTV at the site. What will happen now?

I certainly feel that all the dissent on Bush's war in iraq is well needed and indeed the war has caused civil war in iraq. the sunnis killed over 200 people of their own people in one attack last month and 63 just yesterday.

but i think that fact that such a large part of the population is so evil hearted by their own religion to murder their own people, because it is easier to do that than attack our armed troops, says something about the third world. They don't know better and wiil always do what is worst for their own people because they need to be guided and the people who are erroneous minded in those country need to be killed for the sake of the peace of those country.

I don't think this argument alone completly justifies the war, makes it "right"
The truth is the situation in the middle east is only going to get worse before it ever gets better.
And a hundred years before it ever starts to get any better, every middle eastern nation will have access to nuclear bombs

I know that Rush Limbaugh was eventually charged with "Doctor Shopping" in regard to his illegal drug purchases.

But he was caught buying drugs from his cleaning lady.

His punishment was relatively minor. What happened to the cleaning lady?
