having sex with someone other than your wife? I know a man who supposedly lost his job for getting a woman (who wasn't his wife) pregnant. Is this possible? This guy had a reputation for being a womanizer, but come on! He was a damn good cop, and was supposedly fired for getting this woman pregnant.

No matter what happens (you lose your job, have a minor car accident, your neighbor makes you angry, you buy expired food) most American's thoughts immediately turn to lawsuits.

Is it just every American's dream to be set for life due to a minor inconvenience?
Or is it greed & greedy lawyers?

Or are we just so blind that we cannot see that our frivolous lawsuits are running American jobs out of America and we do not care that our children's opportunities are dwindling?

Occassionally, I hear the two terms on TV, movies and radio, but I don't understand the difference between them. Even associations use the term "peace officer" in their names, e.g., California Peace Officers Association (am not certain this entity exists).

When the framers came up with our Constitution and government they did alot of resource. One thing they did was resource other types of governments. They found a government that would work. A country that had the system. So what counrty was our Constitution based on.

I know I posted this question before but I am waiting on orders - I leave in 4 and a half months and have no orders. I need to do a pack out and my family needs to take care of loose ends that can't be done without the orders. Does anyone have any insight?

those who answered stated that there is no population nor government...so of the scientists who live/work/study/visit there - say one kills another...since there is no government and i would presume no law what happens to the person who commits the murder?...are they governed by whatever country they are from? what if it is a intercountry murder? say an american kills a person from another country...whose laws govern then?

OK, THIS IS GROSS. I BOUGHT A BAG OF PALMERS CHOCOLATES. THE X-MAS ONES. I HAVE BEEN EATING THEM ALL WEEK. WELL THIS MORNIG I CRACKED ONE OPEN AND FOUND A TINY MAGOT INSIDE OF IT. My husband got his meb orders cut on nov 8 and got his chapter 14 read to him on nov 25 but since he already had orders for his meb shouldnt he still get out with those orders. his unit told us his final out date was dec 7th so we told our landlord and now they are pushing for the chapter and he isnt getting out on the 7th and the landlord already rented our apartment to someone starting on the 12th. so now we have no where to live in 2 days and the housing list here has a wait for 24-26 monts for his rank. and he cant get an aer loan becuase he is pending discharge. what do we do? we have a 6 month old daughter too we cant jsut liveo n the street and his unti doesnt seem interested in trying ot help us out.

I've contributed to special causes before, volunteered and have tried to help. I do however wonder, if continuing to Aid African Nations is such a good Idea. Most African Nations have Ultra Corrupt Governments that pocket most of the Aid sent, also won't Aiding cause people to be dependant on receiving help rather than being self suffiecient.

my mother and father both passed away, my mom on the 1st of october, and now my father, yesterday. they have a will, i have 3 older siblings and 1 younger. they have a quaint house,paid for, several vehicle's and lots of antique collections. they neither one had enough insurance to pay for a full funeral, myself and my older brother both helped them out a lot with things like furniture, belonging cars and money things we give them. what i want to know is i would like all the things i personally give them go back to me, and not see another sibling recieve the stuff, one sister who is living at the residence, and has moved a man in with her, also she is recieving a nut check from dhs and dad was the over see'er of the check, what should i do, i have no money for attorne
heres what i want to do:
move in the residence today,, in my old bedroom,(because im living in an r.v.) mainly to make sure sister dont carrie out anymore stuff,(she has stole before from parents house.) what do i do?

I just found out that the bounced check crime im being charged with is actually a Class B Felony. Its in the State of New Hampshire... I have never committed a crime before, i have a perfectly clean record and this was all a mistake, one that i failed to resolve. However i also have a good job, a place to live, and a decent future. So my question is, what is the likelyness that i will have to serve jail time? that would ruin everything i have, and probably impair my future beyond what i can imagine, even if it was only for months... Does an honestly good person who made a mistake and has a clean past go to jail? or will they take that all into consideration? Im sorry im just totally freaking out to think i will lose what i have worked so hard for.

Biological children need and deserve fit parents just as much. If there are unfit parents, then the child should be given to a better family. And why not? There's plenty of willing people waiting to adopt. It won't just be beneficial for the children, but for our society in the long run given that more often than not good parents=good cycle.
