Being a liberal and a veteran of the first Gulf War, I am offended and appalled that you would insult the people laying down thier lives for YOU just because they do not share your political views. America is about differing opinions and the right to express them. I don't think even GWB would appreciate or condone your comment. I am an American just like you, but unlike you, I volunteered my life to fight for YOUR right to insult me and the thousands of other Americans who went and fought and died for you to be this ignorant and hateful. You should be ashamed to call yourself American. Dispite all of our differences, the one thing we DO agree on is that we ALL Support our troops. Not just the conservative ones.

It is sad when anyone dies in Iraq, or elsewhere. Unfortunately, the politicians (some of whom pass themselves off as religious leaders) are the ones who start these wars. I think that whenever we go to war (by the way, Congress hasn't declared war since 1941), all of our politicians should be in the front lines. Never send someone to do something you wouldn't do yourself.
