i am all for animal rights and everything.but PETA takes it a bit too far when they throw paint on people and vandalize laboratories and all.don't they know that animal testing has saved millions of lives?(penicillin and insulin is just an example).and if our bodies weren't made to eat meat then why do we have such sharp teeth that can cut through.why wouldn't our teeth be made only sharp enough to eat through veggies and grains?

an after 9/11 they accused the new york city officials of not doing enough to save orphan dogs and cats.what about the orphan human children who lost their parents in those horrible attacks?

I admit I am not a consersative by any means but I also love America and I don't like to see our President act like a bufoon. Can someone please talk with this man that he is sounding more marginal and incredulous every day. Really man... How long will he deny he messed up and there is a civil war that has been unleased. Pelosi was right when she said it is sad. This man is so pathetic...someone needs to help us out of this war in a "respectable" fashion. What is our role there assuming it is a civil war? Does anyone think our role should be to have our soldiers die for another countries civil war ?

I've been contemplating a career change lately and I'm considering joining the California Highway Patrol? Can anyone tell me about the training process and the Academy? The training/academy sounds challenging, but also interesting. Any recommendations for how I should prepare, etc.? I've read everything on the website, but I'm looking for first hand knowledge. The problem is deeply rooted in the culture itself. Those who have said that its an issue of poverty or government were wrong. Some of the most prominent Jihadists come from wealthy families. Oil-rich Islamic countries have no shortage of terror cells and people who hate kafirs (non-muslims).

Iraq is a conudrum, no doubt about it, and it was before we made the poor decision to go in with the plan of nation building. For that matter, the entire Islamic world is a quagmire...conundrum. How do we respond....with half measures. Perfect for them, because they dont have the resources to fight with us any other way...we are fighting on their terms and no using our strength.

Whats are strength? Yep, its bombs...big ones...all types. "OH NO..HUMANS RIGHTS...JUSTICE!!"

Fine, just make sure to write "half measures" on our gravestone.

I ship out to MCRD in 3 weeks and I still can not fully pass the IST. I can run like a deer and do slightly more sit ups than necesary but Im still having trouble with my pullups, I cant do a single one. Is there any way to increase the number of pullups I can do from 0 to 3 before Dec 19? And whats being sent to PCP like just in case? An average day in PCP? How long does the average recuit have to stay in PCP before their capable of passing the IST?

But if Humanity is to survive until our technology can save everyone, shouldn't we do all we can to SLOW the process of change in the desire for self preservation.

Meaning - GLOBAL WARMING IS NATURAL - but it will destroy humanity if we don't try to slow it during our time here.

And to deny that Humans create much more carbon emissions with our "new" technologies is just silly. (To add humans and our current technology to any time frame in the history of earth, will without a doubt result in GIANT increases in carbon emission - i.e. global warming)


DO YOU NOT TRY AND CHANGE HARSH ENVIROMENTS WITH THINGS LIKE HEAT AND A/C - why would you deny doing it for the earth then?
