I admit I am not a consersative by any means but I also love America and I don't like to see our President act like a bufoon. Can someone please talk with this man that he is sounding more marginal and incredulous every day. Really man... How long will he deny he messed up and there is a civil war that has been unleased. Pelosi was right when she said it is sad. This man is so pathetic...someone needs to help us out of this war in a "respectable" fashion. What is our role there assuming it is a civil war? Does anyone think our role should be to have our soldiers die for another countries civil war ?

Pooky.... You can't be serious. ARE YOU JOKING!! What river in Africa do you live on? You admire a man who keeps doing something even though it is wrong? As far as the military doing what public opinion wants that is the most absurd cop out I have ever heard. What fantasy world do you live in anyhow? You can't have it both ways. You say that the war is going badly becasue the public is not behind it but also Bush is doing the right thing and we should stay the course? My kind friend the definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over and hoping for a different result. Of course Bush deserves blame....he said so himself!!! He is calling the shots. Do you know what Commander in Cheif means? People like yourself should stand up and support our troops dying for another countries civil war. Come right out and say that is what you believe!!! If you spoke the truth you would see how popular this war really is.....The neocons and people like you are JUST wrong !

You all act like war is a game of battleship or something. The only thing you know is stuff you hear on the news or the Internet. Let the military do it's job.

I admire the fact that Bush stands behind his decisions, and fights for what he believes in, whether I completley agree or not. I'd rather have that than someone who changes his opinion every other day, or just agrees with whoever is complaining the loudest. I don't think it would have gone this badly if people would just let him alone and let him do his job. From what I've heard, and I know some people who've been there, the general feeling is that the war would be over if Bush & the military didn't have to try to please the public as well.
Additionally, it amazes me to think that people can pin this entire mess on Bush, how much power do you think he really has? He is not in total control of this matter. It also amazes me that people can say he is so dumb, so wrong, bla, bla, bla, and yet you elected him into this office...TWICE! Doesn't make sense...
...I never said i didn't support the troops who are fighting in the war, in fact I support them strongly, and I always feel sorry that they are over fighting in a war that no one seems to support...even if the reasons are wrong, and I will admit, I just don't know, they have no choice, so if nothing else, we should at least support the troops and show that we believe in them...
AND, the truth is that none of us REALLY know what is going on...we only know what the media chooses to tell us, and we all know that the media is largely, if not entirely, Liberal. So, naturally, they are going to make things appear to be as bad as they can, but we don't really KNOW the truth...and as far as "Commander in Chief" that he may be, but he still is not in sole control of the doings of our country; he is not a dictator or a King...

Well if you look at his past and see 20 years of drug abuse you can also see that he is in total denial that anything is wrong .
IN his mind he is saying to himself ___
Look i got rid of the bad guy for you got you elected now run your country . Whats the hold up .
OK lets get rid of the insurgents and get the ball rolling then .
What you are still not done .
Well sir Iran is sending them in andd we need to say something .
Ok I will threaten them but the american people will not back me on another war so if they figure it out then I end up losing .
ALl I have to do is get these last two years over and slip out and let the next guy take the blame for leaving .
That way I still gt to say I told you so .

The war was mismanaged for the last two or three years. I know nothing about the military but I think I could have been better at running the thing. I think our country is too PC.

Yes, sadly it is very embarrasing for the majority of Amreicans and for our standing in the world at large. Bush is so incredibly clueless, its not even funny. In fact, its down right scary.

By many definitions it actually is a civil war. The British, if you heard the news, have already acknowledged this fact. Bush just doesn't get it. He couldn't be more incompetent if he tried!

Yeah, yeah.........I'll go talk to him right now.
I agree, although remember, Presidents have to play forewarner and cheerleader so Bush is in between a rock and a hard place.

Hillary, the smartest woman in the world, says Bush is doing what's right.
She calls people who don't support Bush in Iraq: "cowards".
