Zimbabwe is in the throes of difficult political, economic and social problems. When will this end and how ?

Zimbabwe has no future as long as Mugabe is in power.He has taken a country of wealth and prosperity and turned it into a wasteland and economic freefall.If ever the description"to rape a country" was more justified,I have never seen it.The sad thing is that nothing will be done by the outside world.It's not their problem.Maybe we should start a rumour that he has WMD's.

It's a pity that Zimbabwe doesn't have oil - if it did the West might show a bit more interest.
As things stand it's hard to be optimistic about the country's future or guess when the situation will improve.

I think there is going to be major economic and social upheavel for the forseeable future.

Even if Mugabe leaves office, the country is in deep trouble.

The land reforms have caused damage that will last decades at a minimum.
