Assassins aren't even charged with it.

In a democracy, people should be allowed to form political subdivisions or divide a union whenever they meet the requirements of the constitution of that democracy. If the constitution does not permit any division, it should be amendable to allow it. If that democracy prohibits the change in its constitution to allow a division, that democracy has asked for an armed rebellion. One day, it will get it.

no they should not be charged with treason. But how many people agree with me that it is very sad that they would want to leave Canada. Canada loves Quebec.

no. what they did is called free speach and use of the democratic process. i think you need to actually incite violent overthrow to be charged with treason.
