It's only illegal because the racists beliefs that this country was built on felt that the mexicans living in this country were running wild. Marijuana was grown and smoked back in the days without any laws to regulate, but it was mostly being consumed by mexicans and the rednicks at that time wanted the chinamen to build the railroad and wanted the mexicans to go back to mexico.. While they killed off all the buffalo and took the Indian lands and started mistreating the Irish and Italians..

Yeah thats our history.

A little Mad?
When was the last time a cop actually helped you? Police issue tickets to make the government
money, not to help you. Police are meter maids doing nothing productive, but make your life
harder to live. They call tow trucks take your car and if you can't get it out, they re-sell it at
auctions to car dealerships, who sell it right back to you. You accept the rules of the game of life
because you feel powerless to change them. The government controls you into working your life,
having children and putting them in the same situation you are in now, and then you die.
Your parents did it to you, you do it to your children.
Did you really need that cop to write a ticket and fine you for not keeping up with the laws?
When you did something wrong as a child, did your parents tell you, you owe them $100?
Or did did you learn your lesson another way?

I read in the newspaper a few days ago that a 16-year old boy went out and had sex with a 22-year old girl, and on his way home, stopped by someone's house and purposely killed the owner. The boy was caught and went through the court as an adult. While in court, he mentioned that he had sex with the 22-year old. That girl was found guilty for having sex with a minor.

Is it fair for the boy to be tried as an adult, but considered a minor so that the girl could be convicted?

It's absolutely not true. Republicans enforce stem cell research but don't want to let people to use the embryonic part of stem cell research as an excuse for abortion. For some reason leftys seem to think that bc we dont like one aspect of it, we must be against the whole thing. Why is that?

Humus Recipe

A chick-pea cream with garlic, Humus, Oumos, or Hummus
A delicious and healthy mediteranean recipe, easy, cheap and fast to make (10 min).
Humus is a cream of chick peas with garlic, lemon and olive oil, from Lebanon.

- Take a can of chickpeas (standard, 850ml 530 g), also called garbanzo beans. Wash the peas (4 holes on one side, open the other, put in a sink and rinse under a water flush)
- Put the peas in a blender (food-processor, e.g., Magimix).
- Add 100 ml of lemon juice (one glass or half a cup, unsweetened, e.g., Pulco, or two lemons)
- Let it turn for a while. When it becomes “creamy”
- Add 100 ml of olive oil (one glass or half a cup. Better to replace ¼ of the glass with canola (rapeseed) oil, for fatty acids balance)
- Let it turn until the cream is “perfect”. While it turns:
- prepare four big garlic cloves,
- Stop the blender, crunch the garlic with a garlic-cruncher on top of humus, wait 2-3 min for garlic to “mature”, and mix again the humus (why should you wait? Why should garlic "mature"? see the explanation in the Gaspacho recipe).
- Serve it cold, with mint leaves as ornament (optional). Spread it on bread (or take a spoon!)

For those who “hate” garlic (yes, they exist), make humus without garlic, but provide cumin powder with it.
For those who like “hot” stuffs, use an olive oil where red chilli pepper have been “swimming” for a while.
Tahini Some people E-mailed me: "Hummus should contain tahini!" = sesame cream. Well, not easy to find in a supermarket, but Meige brought me a "Tahina" box (Alkanater, Lebanon). I thus tried to make hummus with one, two or four large spoons of tahini. But I did not find it better than without tahini: it makes hummus heavy and sticky, hard to clean and not so tasty. My advice is thus not to use it, but if you like it, use it ...

...sit around the barraks and refuse to go out and fight? Would they tell their commanders that they don't want to do it, they'll just wait and let the unit that replaces them take on the job? Would they leave their nation hanging in limbo while they did nothing?

That's what the Congress is doing.
