So much for school being about getting an education and preparing kids for the real working world.
Maybe this is why America is falling behind the rest of the world in education.

Public schools cannot however private schools have their own standards and can ban a student for any reason they see fit. It's not like they'e gonna care if the government cuts off funding because the government doesn't fund private schools.

I doubt that any public school would be able to do that. If it is a private school governed by religion, they may have the right.

I think its wrong, and illegal, due to discrimination, but I may be wrong, but the only schools who could get away with this, would be private schools, not public.

it is just wrong and against their rights. you should be able to go to school if you are gay or straight. everyone has rights. i would get a lawyer and get your child back in school. get gay and lebsian activist involved if you have too.
