I am involved in a lawsuit invovling property damage to spruce logs for a home. We offered to replace damaged property with the same logs from the same area. The spruce logs came from an area known for its twisted grain and the builder exceeded industry standards for amount of twist allowed. In short the owner rejected the offer and is wanting better quality logs than he had started with and is wanting more expensive logs from Canada. This is going to be a jury trial. Would this not be seen as a form of fraud?

My girlfriend was pulled over at the age of 17, given a ticket for dui and then released on the scene to her parents and there was never a court date or anything, just a fine. Now 6 years later she was hired for a new job then told that they can't keep her on because the dui caused a problem with the company insurance that is required for her line of work. Is there anything that can be done if anything at all?

Texas Republican Congressman Ron Paul ominously warned that the Military Commissions act officially allows for citizen concentration camp facilities.

"We might have to hope that our Supreme Court helps us out a little. The Court has been better than the executive branch and a heck of a lot better than the Congress, the President has been begging for all this authority and we've given the President everything he's asked for. Sometimes the people wake up too late. Right now we don't have concentration camps but the authority has been given so that concentration camps can come without the right of Habeas Corpus . If they can put you in a camp, what good is freedom of speech or what good is a gun? This is now part of the books, part of the law."

Section 802 is specifically aimed at US citizens and announces any federal crime as "domestic terrorism". Citizens can be held without a trial as "Enemy Combatants".

I think that the US military is the most powerful in the world, In all it's branches, but thats no free ticket to winning a war.

I heard that Israeli pilots are better than US pilots. But I think it is wrong since they can't seem to aim correctly at the enemy according to the last war.

But anyway thats no the issue, Through research I discovered that Israel's main weakness is that if it fights a LARGE SCALE war for more than a few weeks at the most they face the possibility of defeat.

So I was just thinking who would win the war if they fought against each other?

How long would it take?

How would it be won? Regardless of who's side you think will win.

a friend agreed to pay my credit card bill in exchange for letting them make a purchase. They used a fradulent check account and charged more than $5k.
After speaking with the bank, I disputed the charges. It was turned over to fraud services and the culprit later agreed to pay the merchant directly so I didn't give their name to the bank.

I finally told fraud dept that I knew the culprit and that they would pay the merchant directly.Turns out the merchant and the culprit are friends and he is fighting the chargeback. He says that he has not been paid but I later found out that the merchant issued a check to the culprit for difference in what was charged to my account and what was purchased (more than $3k).
The culprit has a long criminal record and is facing charges in 3 states and is on the run now.
The bank is calling the cops and says that I have to file a police report, but am I in troubIe? I have texts and audio where he admitted to doing this but I gave him the info.
