Probably not. Our own congressman has forgotten which side of the border he represents. He does more for the Mexican Government and their people than he does his own.

I think convincing people that illegal immigration is bad in general wouldn't be too hard. It's figuring out what to do about it that has people scratching their heads. I'm for making the lives of would-be immigrants so good in their countries of origin that they have no need or desire to immigrate.

Reality check.
Our elected officials are paid for with campaign contributions, not the votes of the people. All votes achieve is to get them into office.
Some really big contributors like illegal aliens because they are cheap, and if they get hurt, you just fire them and turn them in to ICE for deportation.
The best way to convince an elected official is to have your checkbook ready.

The only way possible is if us American citizens stop trying to always be "politically correct" & stand up as 1 & unite with protest. It will eventually happen. Believe me when I say that the majority of Americans think the same way as us Pro-Americans here at this site. Most of us are sick & tired of "ILLEGAL" immigration. Believe me... as soon as the 1st political person tosses out a Pro-illegal slur... Pro-Americans will be ready to protest!!!

i dont know probably not because the number of illegals doing work that we as americans dont want to do is so high that some places would go out of business. i have a friend who employess mexicans only because americans wouldnt do the job or would only stay around till something better came along. in part we are our own enemy when it comes to immigration we complain when people are willing to do shitty work for cheap but then when we are asked to do it ourselves we complain that we shouldnt have to. the type of society we live in is the main cause for our problem.
