I think that the US military is the most powerful in the world, In all it's branches, but thats no free ticket to winning a war.

I heard that Israeli pilots are better than US pilots. But I think it is wrong since they can't seem to aim correctly at the enemy according to the last war.

But anyway thats no the issue, Through research I discovered that Israel's main weakness is that if it fights a LARGE SCALE war for more than a few weeks at the most they face the possibility of defeat.

So I was just thinking who would win the war if they fought against each other?

How long would it take?

How would it be won? Regardless of who's side you think will win.

The U.S would win, who do you think trained all of those Israeli pilots? (hint: the U.S did) Who gave them their fancy planes? The U.S did, which means the U.S knows the strengths and weaknesses of Israeli aircraft. If I was a U.S commander, I'd stage my carriers pretty far off the Israeli coast, use conventional cruise missiles to damage Israeli aircraft and airfields, as well as command and control centers, mop up the rest with the fighter compliments of my carriers, along with additional aircraft from my bases in places like Saudi Arabia and Iraq(the Saudis wont mind the U.S launching from there, I'm sure). The U.S would certainly lose aircraft and pilots, but they have more to lose. Once the IAF is destroyed you blockade Israeli ports at your leisure and send in the troops. The Israeli army is no joke, but again they train off the U.S model, and the U.S has more stuff than they do, I would bet that the U.S would win a war with Israel in under 18 months, and some of that time would include the buildup you would need to accomplish that task.

The United States is the World Hegemon which means that it can destroy any country very quickly without resistance. IF the us and israel were to go to war for a full and immediate war the US would win. The US could deploy a huge arsenal of nuclear warheads to israel and that would be the end. Even with the small stockpile the Israelis have they would lose sorely. The US would not even need fighter pilots. About 30 nuclear war heads would take out the ENTIRE Israel.

Aftermath:
-After a while the US could send people to clean up whatever was left.
-The Arab nations would attack Israel very quickly and probably kill ANY remaining Israelis.
-The US would be safe because their neighbors include Canada and Mexico who are no threat to the US.

It would take at most a whole month for it to be over or less.
Nuclear warfare would end it.

An argument could be said that they are losing the war in Iraq and War on Terror but the war on terror is against a group of people and an idea. The war in Iraq is an offensive war and we would not nuke them because we have interest in the area.

The US would hands down. You also need to understand that Israel was using quite a bit of restraint and tried to fight that little skirmish through the eye of a needle. If Israel wanted to get ugly, they are very good at ugly and the Lebanese are blessed that the Israeli's used the constraint that they did.

Well, we have them outgunned and out manned in almost any sector. Even if they have really good pilots, we have more, and most of ours are every bit as good and experienced.
Plus if we turned against them, the entire middle east would rally to our aid just for the opportunity jump on them too.
For those two reasons alone, I don't think they would have a snowball's chance in Hades.

But it isn't going to happen anyway...

The chance of it happening are either slim or none. Without out a doubt, in an all out war, US wins. With the neighbors Israel has, the US could simply blockade them and win without firing a single shot. It would take about 1 year. If the US decides to wipe them out, 24 hours or less.

Regardless of what you may have heard, the us military would completely destroy the Israeli military. First off, we supply them with supplies ranging from jets, tanks, weapons, and money, all the way down to ammunition and office supplies. If we went to war with them, we would cut them off. They would be screwed. Not to mention, we have extensive files of the locations and information of every single base, missile silo, and outpost in Israel. We would stay off the coast and launch laser guided cruise missiles at any radar station, air base, missile silo, barracks, tanks, government and military buildings. Their ability to carry out any major military assault would be destroyed within the first 48 hours.

Your question is deceptive. no person argues that Israel did not attack the liberty in 1967 which resulted in the shortcoming of existence. What we do argue is that there have been dissimilar valid investigations that concluded that it became right into a delightful fire incident. that's the third (?) placed up you have placed up in this concern and yet you look surprisingly reluctant to respond to the subject concerns I postulated to you two times till now, extremely opting to close the question and supply the acceptable answer to somebody who consents with you. So, i will make it uncomplicated for you this time and ask you here questions: - in view which you think that they "have been murdered in chilly blood" and American valid investigations concluded that it became right into a delightful fire incident do you for this reason have self assurance that there became right into a conceal UP? confident of No. - in view which you think that they "have been murdered in chilly blood" and america of a and Israel have been allies on the time then what available rationalization do you have as to why Israel could attack it intentionally? - In anticipation of the available rationalization which you will provide that Israel wanted to "conceal up" something it did that the liberty knew approximately, then, if Israel and america of a are allies, why could not america of a be depended directly to cover it up with out the shortcoming of the liberty?

Militarily it would be no problem for the US to beat Israel but as their entire country would be behind their government for a quick or long haul victory -
I truly belief Israel would have the better mind set to win.

Under six to eight months the US after that time frame Israel.

Probably take a year if we really went to war strong.
Nuclear warfare would cause the end of it.
