i just picked up my prescriptions ( i have insurance!!!) they cost over $600!! i work in health care around doctors and know they are constantly going on trips (paid by the drug companies) and taken to expensive restaurants, given gifts and other perks. i also know the cost of these medications are cheaper in other countries and am dumbfounded as to why we have to pay so much, esp when we have insurance. i am more than willing to start complaining to someone in government (yet i'm sure that's pointless) but have no clue where to start. any ideas??

I am currently pregnant and married. My husband is out of the picture and was before i got pregnant. I am sure the child is not his. I want anyones advice as to wait and get a divorce after the child is born or before. I have contacted the courthouse and they said either way he would have to ask and pay for a paternity test. I dont want anything from him except a divorce. I had found out though after he left he had been cheating on me and continued after he left. This makes things a definite divorce i dont want and try to work things out its been almost a year since we have even talked. I need thoughts on what to do

i was in a wreck in december of 05. My insurance had lapsed and I wasn't workin at the time. I recieved a bill from the other guy's insurance company for 3737.00. I spoke with the insurance company and wanted the full report of what the auto collision experts had made. I have got letter after letter threatening suspension of my license til amount is paid. I got one today and called the attorney's handleing the claim. They tell me they can only except 373.61 and 112.13 for the next 30 months. I was told if i send them 10.00 towards the debt that they have to except it due to federal law. If they refuse my payment and send my money order back then i owe them NOTHING toward this debt. Im tryin to find out if i send the 10.00 if they can still suspend my license til totall amount paid.. What are your thoughts and is this really true?

Bush complains that the D's have already measured for new drapes, yet he then turns around and says the Republicans will retain both houses of Congress. What? Is this an example of hypocrisy or simple stupidity?

Is it because it was Muslims killing Christians, and they approve of such things?

I can't imagine the world media ignoring the slaughter of hundreds of thousands of muslims at the hands of a Christian Army. The politically correct and irresponsible leftist academia have already convinced the West that the Crusades were something other than a defensive battle against Islamic imperialism, which probably saved western culture as we know it.

And where is the worlds indignation towards the slaughter of Christians in Sudan, the harrassment of Assyrian Christians in Iraq today, and the killing of Christian priests and nuns by Islamo-Fascists all over the world?

To make a VERY long story short -- my neighbor snores horribly -- I know it is not their fault and I feel for them (embarrassed), but we need to get some sleep too. The Apt complex is telling us (and them) - TOUGH, YOUR PROBLEM. The walls are paper thin, you can hear 'everything'. Is there a legal way to force the complex to fix the walls someway so we can all live in peace??

This ad by the RNC against Harold Ford has come under fire because it features a white woman talking suggestively about a black candidate. Evidently this makes the ad "racist."

How so? I'm surprised by this hyper-sensitivity a perceived interracial coupling. This is 2006. (Or so I hear). Is it really still unacceptable to suggest that a white woman could be attracted to a black man?

For the record, I think the ad is uncalled for, over-the-top and unnecessary, but racist? I fail to see it...

We're watching a movie in class and some students wonder how many g's a person can tolerate. The pilots on the show can tolerate 9 g's on an F-16.

After all, Diebold and ESS did a good job for them the last few times around. Did you know that ESS, a company that produces voting machines, is owned in part by Senator Chuck Hagel (Republican). Of course this cannot be a conflict of interests, surely not.

The fact that Walden O'Dell sent out a letter to Ohio voters that he is "committed to helping Ohio deliver its electoral votes to the president next year.", is certainly a little glich in the secrecy that the Bush junta is so prominently proud of.

My grandson was shot in the leg (which has ended his football season and his quest for scholarships, he is a senior in hi-school) How do we make sure the guys who shot him stay in jail. The action was deliberate as they announced before they started shooting that someone was going to catch a hot one tonight. They were arrested immediately but I want to see they don't get out for a long time. We read about the arrest in the newspaper the next day but have never been notifited by the police. I am fearful that nothing is going to happen. There were 5 people and the car and they only held 2. What rights do we have as the victims.

This is actually happening where I live!! A 63 year old man and a 65 year old man got into a fight. They threw a couple punches, but mainly it was just verbal. The 65 year old man ended up having a heart attack and died. Is it right to charge the other man with 2nd degree murder or possibly manslaughter???

So my son's father is in prison what what I've heard around 10 years, now he wants me to take my son to visit his family and be able to visit often because I am filing for child support he and his family has the right to custody/or visitation a relationship basically which I don't see to benefit my son. My son's father is no good, involved with drug trafficing, gang bangers, I have not met his family so I can't say for sure, but it seems his family would be the same and if they are not the same and I did let them see their grandson/nephew then I'm sure they would just go take my son to visit his father in prison. I need to know if there's anyway of getting around this, I'm almost on the verge of tears knowing that he might have the ability to take my son away from me. My son is 12 months old. Can anyone help me? I will post more details as I begin to recieve answers to better explain my situation.

Keep in mind that Hilary's plan, if elected, is to have gun control. All you NRA members out there...what do you think of that? I don't think any MAN would allow a women to tell them what to do....Bush is a Godly man who is doing what anyone in his position would do...He can only do so much. After all it takes Congress, House of Reps. and Senate to pass anything...The Presidents Veto doesn't really matter in the end...
