Given the sorry state of affairs, the lack of health care, our international standing, the 8.5 trillion dollars of debt, the self/inflicted increase of global terrorism, the list goes on and on.
When and why did we allow this to happen? Shouldn't we rise and bring this dictatorship to a halt?

The much repeated phrase that "USA saved Europe" is very much untrue, and completely dismissive of the intense war that actually occurred far from the USA and for years without USA involvement. Russia saved Europe, so did the UK, so did France and the other allies... for any country to claim that it is more of a benefactor than the others is untrue and shows an emotionally disturbing lack of empathy. I would reckon that historically only the poor, suppressed Russian civilians and soldiers could claim to have saved anyone.
America did supply vast amounts of material goods, but it did not throw itself, or its soldiers, into combat wholeheartedly. America's most consistent aid was against the Japanese, and not until Japan attacked America directly, and even then America eventually resorted to the massively indiscriminate nuclear bombs rather than "waste" men on resolute Japan.

I answered a guestion a while ago & I notice the problem is stiill coming up. Why cant we work together & solve problems. I have to admit some Democrates have good ideas (not many but some)like more money for No Child Left Behind but Republicans say the funding is enough. The Republicans have good ideas like allowing younger people to take 1% of their SS money & invest it in the stock market where it will grow better then in goverment bonds. But the Democrats fight any ideas that MAY help the fundbefore it goes broke. Why cant the to parties just seat down & do what we sent them to Washington to do & find long lasting answers to our problems& I dont mean just raiseing taxes in class warfair. Every one should have to help, forget party & vote & work with your heart & brain. Is this to hard? If so lets get people in there who think of us befor party then we may be great agan.

I think getting rid of political correctness would be a good start; stopping the mass injection of assylum seekers/immigrants as this is a small island; and pulling out troops from Iraq and Afghanistan are my choices. What do you think?

A line was dropped in passing on Jack Cafferty's show on Fox News several weeks ago to the effect that in some places in the United States illegal aliens can vote. I am curious about this. Has anyone else ever heard of such a thing?

As a co-borrower, the mortgage company does not report the interest paid under her social security number. It is only reported under the primary borrower's social. Can the co-borrower still claim the interest on her taxes? I assume that as long as only one person claims the interest, not both, then there is no problem. But the IRS might think this is fishy if the interest isn't reported under the co-borrower's social.

That's what the case seems to be. It is a know fact that the population of blacks in the US is only about 19%(US Census). It is also a known fact that most murders are commited by Blacks(FBI, US Dept. of Justice). Yet Americans seem to wanna justify their actions by feeling sympathy. Making excuses such as, well most are uneducated, unemployed, living in poverty, not having a chance for a future. That is absurd, last time I checked, America offered Education, Work, and a Chance to move up in the world to all it's citizens. Why do you want us to bow down to them and give them our money?

Hey people! I'm wanting to join the Marine Corps and Army. I'm gonna go to college first and earn a degree in something so that when I enter I'm immediatley an officer. I was wondering what jobs specifically are open to women in both branches? Also does anyone know if you have an option on what you eat? I need to know because I'm allergic to wheat. So no pizza, pasta, pancakes, burgers, cakes, you name it I probably can't eat it. Its a real pain. It's only in scandinavians. So yah any info would be very helpful. Thanks!

I thought it was good that we kept criminals in jail. If we just deported them, they would just come back here and do their crime again. I think it's good that we keep criminals in jail, since that's the whole purpose of jail.
