The cops have a shrink? Or do you mean a profiler?

OK, the cop screws up and violates civil rights, abusing a citizen and showing off force. When a grievance is filed, the shrink reminds him of how good he is, and Internal Affairs will take good care of him, so the cop sleeps very well and looks forward to his promotion without concerns.

OK, but you didn't expect the shrink to get paid to make the cops feel guilty, do you?
