That's what the case seems to be. It is a know fact that the population of blacks in the US is only about 19%(US Census). It is also a known fact that most murders are commited by Blacks(FBI, US Dept. of Justice). Yet Americans seem to wanna justify their actions by feeling sympathy. Making excuses such as, well most are uneducated, unemployed, living in poverty, not having a chance for a future. That is absurd, last time I checked, America offered Education, Work, and a Chance to move up in the world to all it's citizens. Why do you want us to bow down to them and give them our money?

Blacks represent only 13% of the population (12.8% to be exact) yet committ half of all violent crimes. It is my belief that U.S. blacks do not have the inherited genetic capacity to be successful in industrialized societies. Thats why you always read about professional black athletes, making millions of dollars a year, getting into altercations at strip clubs, for instance.
You can take the black out of the Congo, but you can't take the Congo out of the black.

Americans bow down to all the minorities. Not just the blacks. Everyone needs to be treated as equal. I live in the OC and it drives me crazy that the Indian Casinos don't have to pay taxes. Isn't that what conquering or winning a war is all about? So that you can have things the way you want them? Why the special treatment for a select few? In my view, that is discrimination. Slavery happend so long ago that no one is alive from that era and probably not even remembered. So why do we still need to compensate the living for what happened so long ago. Why should we have to pay for the evil's of our forefathers? I am not them, didn't help them make their decisions and would not own a slave so why am I still paying for it? Equality should be across the board.

I think some liberals may feel that way. Most people in this country have a great opportunity. Look at the legal immigrants from all over the world that have come here and are very successful.
I think being a minority is often used as a excuse in our society.

There are some habitual complainers who would rather not take action and do something positive to get their lives improved. It is easier to just repeatedly cry prejudice, and place the blame on others. And then there are the poor and ill, that indeed need our help. It would be good to hear from other Blacks that are in authority, Condi Rice and others, would they have to bow as well?

The black who murders you treat as a murderer. The black who works next to you and works as hard as you you treat with respect. The black who robs you in the street is a thief. The black you marry is your wife. The black who propositions you is a whore.
Also replace white or yellow or red or beige or magenta or cyan or poor or rich for black above.
I do agree NO special treatment should be given because of color and that "hate crime" as a special case is ludicrous. There is CRIME.... and motive and/or extenuating circumstance should not increase or decrease the penalty.
Justice was always shown as woman blindfolded... unfortunately in our forced PC thinking many political groups want Her to peek before making a decision....

Serial killers, Nazi's and yes you sheet wearing cowards. How many whites has the Nation Of Islam hung ? Your kind will soon be rid of once and for all. Allahu-Akbar. Oh yeah, Im a white muslim by the way, I dont fear the devil and you, Your just another scared little cracker Devil.

Hell no we should not bow down to blacks. I am not racist but there is a black that lives across the hall from me,my husband(hispanic) and our 4 kids and unborn child(24 weeks pregant) and he is constintaly starting sh!t with us for no reason.Calls me white trask,*****,tells me I need to get a new man, ect. He tryed to fight me husband while he was holding our daughter who was about4-5 months old.The cops don't do anything about it at all.The cops were called the other night and there was a peice of foil sitting in front of his door and the damn cops left without talking to him or anything. He uses his race as an excuse and lies to get welfare and what not.He gives all blacks a bad name.I say f u c k them all.

WHere the heck did you come from? Are you stuck in the past. They ARE Americans. Stop categorizing them. You are going purely by the census, who's census? This country is still segrigated no matter what we say.

Yep, financial retribution has been given to other cultures affected by their actions, so African Americans rightfully feel deserving of something similar.
It is a tough situation, because those that started the abuse are long gone now, and all we can do now is our best to repair it. I htink they have plentiful opportunities to better themselves and tell themselves, like Maya Angelou says in her beautiful poetry, "I am the hope, and the dream of the slaves, and so, I rise"
