For instance, the soldier is 19 and his girlfriend back home is 17. Is this allowed? I've heard that as long as the parents are aware and aprove and the girl is at least 16 then it's allowed, how close am I? lol

The last 2 world wars have been caused by a country with economic and military superiority, and most other wars in history have been caused by countries in the same position.

We are led to believe that the threat to world peace will come from a 3rd world despot, or will it.

If it does happen who do you think will cause it, personally I think it will be the U.S.

US Visas are difficult to avail of and quite expensive. Aside from the multitude of paper requirements, [which they completely ignore at times or don't require upon actual interview], family ties seems to be the grounding factor that would make you come back to your homeland. Not necessarily true! Even if there are family ties in the USA, it does not mean that's where you'd really want to begin pitching your tent. There's no place like home still.

Personally, I don't think taking all our troops home now would cause the bloodshed to end because if we did take all the troops home then it would be Iraqi citizens dying instead of US troops. But what could be done so that nobody dies anymore?

There are those on the right who say that socialism leads to dictatorship and economic and social ruin, giving Russia as a prime example.

But my arguement is in an advanced political system like we have in the west, with over a century of democratic institutions, Socialism can be achieved through the ballot box and can remain a fair and just system because of the very nature of these democratic rights we all come to take for granted.

I believe a democratic Socialist world under the control of workers would advance mankind to a more higher level than the corrupt, unfair system we have at present. We would could put an end to war and with a planned economy we could concentrate on ending decease and poverty. These goals can only be achieved under democratic socialist workers control.

So please put Russia, Cuba and any other so-called socialist regime out of your mind, they were backward countries and their leaders after their revoltions were not democratic socialists.

Last night at around 2.am i was stopped at a red light waiting to make a left turn when a drunk driver plowed into my trucks rear, apparently going around 30-40 mph. There car was totaled and mine was still drievable. What happened though was right after they hit me the driver and 3 other passengers got out before i even did and started running away trying to get away. I immmediately got on the phone with 911 and told them what happened. Later on the cops arrived and caught the hit and run driver which i identified, but I could not identify the passenegers as i did not see them. I identified the driver because he left and came back and tried to start the vehicle because he was trying to leave. He was stumbling all around due to the liqour. When they found him he was arrested and then ran away from the cops. The cops say he ran into a pole and broke his nose when they caught him. So his charged are drunk driving, hit and run,& evading arrest. I have insurance and a license. What can i do

My arguement is this: Almost all of these countries artificially created from the aftermath of WW I - from the Ottoman Empire -have so many ethnic and cultural divisions that they can't be viable with out an internal police force to keep things in check. Yugoslavia and Palistine are two examples. When the British created Iraq and gave it to King Fiesal in 1919 , ( not sure of the date), it was done with total disregard to ethnic, cultural and tribal territorial identities. I don't ever see this region being a nation on its own.
