What is the best way to achieve world socialism?

Question

There are those on the right who say that socialism leads to dictatorship and economic and social ruin, giving Russia as a prime example.

But my arguement is in an advanced political system like we have in the west, with over a century of democratic institutions, Socialism can be achieved through the ballot box and can remain a fair and just system because of the very nature of these democratic rights we all come to take for granted.

I believe a democratic Socialist world under the control of workers would advance mankind to a more higher level than the corrupt, unfair system we have at present. We would could put an end to war and with a planned economy we could concentrate on ending decease and poverty. These goals can only be achieved under democratic socialist workers control.

So please put Russia, Cuba and any other so-called socialist regime out of your mind, they were backward countries and their leaders after their revoltions were not democratic socialists.

What went wrong with all of them were not men but the system.
Socialism was made by and for the lazy. In this system all a cording to there needs is what socialism is bast on. So why should I work hard if the lazy man next to me get the same or more just because some one thinks he should. We are just humans and need some thing to strive for. If that is taken away we do not. Socialism takes it all the only thing that is after that is the gun forcing men to work.

Each time socialism is tried if fails.

I want me to decide what is good for me, not a socialistic government. To depend on the Government for answers is dangerous. We have our minds and our ambitions. We have the right to succeed and to be wealthy if we earn it. I don't need the "Big Brother " telling me what is good for me. yes, I also want the chance to fail be mine as well. In failing you should learn. There would be no chance to even try when the Government sets all the rules and controls all the results. Independence is Freedom, Socialism is without that Freedom.
