Personally, I don't think taking all our troops home now would cause the bloodshed to end because if we did take all the troops home then it would be Iraqi citizens dying instead of US troops. But what could be done so that nobody dies anymore?

Been deployed a few times myself theres nothing you can do, there will always be wars. Its human nature, you can observe it in your area just walk around you'll see people minding their own business and there's always that jackass that has to ruin it for everyone cause he/she cant control their emotions/thought/etc and has to take it out on the first person they see.

It's not going to happen unless the US pulls it troops out. It's the US presence in Iraq that is causing the bloodshed. I know this is never going to happen, but if the US let the UN take over getting the Iraqi government up and running and making sure the terrorist are stopped....there may be more progress. The Iraqis do not like Westerns and they do not like us or our policies. I believe they want to make their country a better place, but they do not want our involvement in the process.

I think the removal of troops would be a good start. Such a pointless waste of life. Robert Fisk recently said, 'If people had seen what I'd seen reporting on wars around the world, like dogs ripping apart corpses in the street, then no one would ever support a war ever again.' I agree. It sad it's so incredibly

It's the terrorist who are responsible for all bloodshed....it started there, they hate us, and anyone that isn't a terrorist and sideing with them. Please don't be missled......we need to protect our own, and others against them, and until they are cleaned up, and stop killing, then we'll stop....think of it this way....if your neighbor had someone continually bullying them, and killing their family members, wouldn't you step in and help your neighbor fight off the killers.....on a large scale it's the same in Irac.

personally, I think our troops should come home...We lost 78 soldiers just this month of October, and I am sick of hearing, "another soldier was killed...."....their government is resposible for the way that country is led. The people there deserve to live humanely, but it is not our responsibility to ensure they do....Why does America have to be the shrink with weapons to try to convince their people they are living in a way that is harmful to them....We have enough problems here that need to be addressed...Protecting our country needs to come first....

I say bring our troops home, and stop the waste of our money on people who cannot fix their problems.
We need to concentrate our resources on our own.
When they are tired of fighting, then they will step up and do something about it but, but not if someone will do it for them.
When they are ready to be allies, they will show it.

Ask any soldier who has served in Iraq, Carpet bombing, or tactical nuke strikes are the only answer. As it stands right now, for every insurgent or terorist we eliminate, five more fill his shoes.

Do like Michael Savage has said all along. Seal off the main area, give people ample warning to get it out, thoroughly bomb the area, then it's over.

put Saddam back in power. He knew how to handle his people. Really a firm hand is all they understand. They will never be a democracy, to many religious problems. Its sad.
