Do you have to shower with other men? Is basic training hard? Can I still smoke? Are there any reasons I shouldn't? Do the people who rank above you yell at you like in all the movies? Is the pay good? Do I get to pick where I am stationed? Do I get to pick my job?

Bush is a dangerous combination of ignorance, arrogance and fanaticism. I was born in '75, and he is easily the worst, most dangerous president of my lifetime.
His followers seem to be the same ones who would call for book burnings and, eventually, people burnings. None of them has a clue about what made this country great.

To me this coming up election is more important than the presidential election. Why? Because, as I'm sure you all know it is not us who elects the president, it is the house and the senate. They are the ones with the electoral votes and if we don't get some of these republicans out of office this election, we don't have a shot in hell at winning the presidency in 2008. Vote democrat and make sure to tell all of your friends. Why am I so adimate about voting democrat? It has nothing to do with the issues, it has to do with the fact that the oil companys are the ones who have been sponsoring many of the republicans running for office. So, I believe if we don't get soem democrats in there, even though prices have been dropping slightly recently, (right before the election), go figure, that that they will sky rocket right back up and continue to rise, please vote democrat and encourage anyone you know who votes to do the same. Don't you think it's important Get those dems. voting.

We'd like to become Legal, but we don't know how. We sneaked from one Boat from Hong Kong and it shipped in Victori Island, Canada, then we took a Boat to Seattle, and we sneaked like the Cubans in Florida. With an antiradar invisible boat made of wood and paper, people thought we were tourists and waved at us. But we sneaked also thanks to a nothern coyote who looked like an Arab. So we had been working hard and we'd like to become Americans

What country in the world with the technology to defend itself would not flex its muscles? Is US being "provocative" when they test nuclear weapons, or is that a different story? If so, why?

Im always so amused when I hear someone talking about how our soldiers are "fighting for our freedom." The notion, of course, is laughable.

While all the fear-monger types would have us beleive there is some enemy out there systematically trying to deprive us of our freedom, that boogie-man exists only in the vapid confines of childish minds.

The only entity on earth with the power to deprive us of our freedom is our own government. People seem to forget that. We are a disarmed society, quickly becoming a police state while people fret about terrorism. They fear external sources while neglecting the fact that every revolution ever fought for the sake of freedom has been fought against ones own government.

No one has died for american freedom since the Civil war. If you like your freedom, thank the ACLU. Thank a constitutional law scholar. Thank a lawyer or a judge who has struck down a paranoid law designed to oppress. Thank Feingold. THATS where your freedom comes from.

I am starting to get aggravated by Kerry Heally but I would like to make a knowledgable decision, Is she ever going to talk about herself or just sling dirt at Deval Patrick. I found Devals site to be very informative. And though I do agree with some of his stands on the issues I know nothing about Kerry. Anyone have any opinions

It's already public knowledge that the Bush administration has used marketing techniques to make ther blatant lies appear to be truths. One example is their repeated use of misleading phrases and so-called platitudes which, eventually, in the average person's mind evolves into "truth", like "fighting a war against terror" They have been successful for many years conducting this "BIG LIE" campaign (which, incidntally, Hitler successfully used). My question to you is, will this be the way of American politics from here on in or will some sense of integrity be forced upon future white house residents?
