I may have a case for citizenship in the US as my father registered me as a US citizen missing in Australia way back in 1948 and until 5 years ago this was the case. My father has since passed on and the only biological relatives I have are brothers and sisters all living in the US. My question is can I apply for either citizenship or immigration while in the US on vacation. I don't want to do anything illegal as I am aware how US citizens view illegals. I am having problems getting any sort of response here.

This is simply a legality issue. I'm 16 (soon to be 17) and want to know if i can legally leave my house (mom) and live with another person (who is 18). I basically support myself as it is. I have a decent job, and i could afford rent on an apartment. i have a 3.9 gpa (unweighted) and am in honors classes. I hardly see my mom since we both work, but she constantly yells at me and tells me to clean the house that i only use to sleep and shower in.

i seriousy just want to move out, but what would it take to make this legal?

So the new President is elected in November 2006 ?

The new guy sits around in the waiting room until 2008?

I am used to our syestem I guess ?

The PM serves a term up to 5 yrs but gets to call the election any time he wants to (as long as it is before the 5 years is up) and then "Elections Canada" takes over the process the campaign can not exceed X number of days and no one is allowed to campaign X number of days (I think 1 or 2 ) just prior to the vote.

The vote is counted and that is the new guy is in within a week or two. Goes to the Governor General tells her (or him) he intends to form the government they do some paper work the new PM names a cabinet they are sworn in - thats that .

So it seems odd and confuseing to me that you hold an election now.

What does the new guy do for two years? I can't believe I've lived beside you guys my whole life and in the US for 4 years and not noticed this oddity -

Brown created a serious problem for the pension industry when he imposed a tax on pension dividends. I am delighted that the damage he did has come home to roost. Note not one word of the tax was mentioned as to why Labours pension fund is in trouble! Spin doctors are still alive and kidding!

Can you please name at least 1 candidate that is AGAINST a Guest Worker programm (Demorat or Republican) that you would vote for? We all know here that a Guest Working Programm is a form of Amnesty which is more likely to happen with a few modifications.

Funny enough all the imaginative brains in the world still couldn't come up with something anywhere as evil as Bush. Then probably Osama second and me a distant third. Whad'ya reckon?

Everyone is talking about Bush as if he is going to have an influence for a long time ?

Truth is the clock is ticking - so whatever is near and ear to his heart that has been left undone is going to have to be done fast.

What do you think he will do with the remainder of his term? If anything.

"An authoritative United States intelligence report pooling the views of 16 government agencies concludes the US's campaign in Iraq has increased the threat of terrorism."

"The report, Trends in Global Terrorism: Implications for the United States, points out the "centrality" of the US invasion of Iraq in fomenting terrorist cells and attacks One section ... describes how the American presence in Iraq has helped spread radical Islam by providing a focal point for anti-Americanism."

To me, the report's findings were already self-evident. How can the U.S. expect that invading and occupying a sovereign nation can do anything but increase Anti-american sentiments among the occupied?

The report only solidifies a notion that many have held from the beginning: The United States' foreign policy of aggression and domination is what truly propels international terrorism.

friend signed mother's signature on some of her checks and cashed them at her bank. Mother was aware of it but did nothing about it (like contacting bank, or closing account). This went on for several months. Friend told mother he would pay her back when she discussed it with him. Still she did nothing. After 3rd bank statement cycle (3 months) friends parents filed forgery charges with police and he was arrested. He had previously been authorized to sign her name on numerous occasions. He made the checks out to himself and cashed them at her bank so he wasn't trying to hide it from her because he had been allowed to do this in the past. Most of the money went for buying painting supplies to paint parents house and supplies for his computer that she was aware he needed.
