I couldn't agree more both with the report and with you. Unfortunately unless we make some major changes in November and change the course we are on instead of "Staying the course" which has been disastrous, things are probably going to get even worse.

Some points to consider.
1)Since the Times did not publish the whole report your argument is extremely flawed. No one should judge until they see the whole report.
2) How would anyone know if the Iraq war has increased the number of terrorists? Did they know how many terrorists existed prior to the Iraq war? What did they do call for a head count? Or did they send out questionaires and all the terrorists repsonded?
3) Intelligence reporting is always inaccurate. How good are the sources they are using? Take this in consideration, in war intelligence is only good for less than 5 minutes.
4) How can you trust the intelligence information. Did you read the 9/11 commission report? Like we should trust any intelligence information.
In response to your last statement, I will say that it is true the bad policy has caused terrorism. Like in Northern Ireland. But in the Middle East terrorism is much different. Even if the west left the MIddle East and Israel is destroyed terrorism will not stop.
Since Islam has always been spread by the sword, terrorsim will go on. Muslims Terrorized the Berber Tribes, they Terrorized Southern Europe in the mid 600's (the Crusades were merely a response to this aggression this is why muslims will not discuss their first Jihad.)
Jihad, although is defined as a holy war, has become terrorism itself. Terrorsim in the Middle East is financed by countries, is ignored by Europe, is blessed by Islamic Clerics, and is ignored by all other Muslims. Even when terrorsim cause death of other Muslims they will not blame the terrorists, but the blame the intended target.
So basically, what truly propels terrorism is that all non-muslims are still breathing.
I would just say, to all people that say America is the bad guys in all of this, that count yourself luck that we do not have a Teddy Rosevelt in the White House. If we did , all the Middle East would be wiped off the Globe, the UN would be kicked out of New York and the 90% of the funding (since the US funds 90%), the WTO would be gone, and we will pull out of NATO.
So we make all the Dems happy and become Isolationist and we will make the Conservatives happy because we kicked the UN out. Than we will tell the rest of the world, if you have a problem deal with it yourself.
That should make everyone happy.

Yes, more terrorists are being created, because none of the government or CIA responsible for the terrorism of 9/11 have yet been brought to justice, but they have alienated so many others who were previously peaceful, that more terrorism occurs.
One very significant point is the depleted uranium in Iraq.
The radiation from the DU shells is causing so much pain and anguish to Iraqis that many of them know they are doomed to die from the cancers thy have caught from the radiation.
So, in order to get rid of the pain, they don't mind killing themselves, and may as well take some of those whom they see responsible with them.
This is why there are so many suicide bombers - because so many people are affected by radiation from the DU weapons, including American soldiers.

Depleted Uranium - Far Worse Than 9/11
For hundreds of years to come, the effects of the uranium will continue to wreak ... "American forces admit to using over 300 tons of DU weapons in 1991. ...

You can't trust those Clinton appointed C.I.A. agents to keep a secret during a time of war. They didn't leak the report from the 90's when Al Qaeda was REALLY growing. This report was from 5 months ago, the Clinton appointed leakers waited until the election to divulge classified information? The good news is, America hasn't been hit by a terrorist attack since 9-11. All the terrorist attacks around the world were from "homegrown" terrorists. In America, we have so many liberal sympathizers and terrorist advocates, it's hard to tell them from the Al Qaeda sleeper cells.

I knew it all along from the very beginning! You'll see the end result of the American occupation of Iraq when the threat of a terror attack comes up!

No, it does not. All Iraq provides you is a battleground for coalition and terrorist forces to conflict. understand this: we are killing ten situations extra of them than they are individuals. we've in easy terms lost 3300+ infantrymen IN 4 YEARS, that's an surprising feat in and of itself while conversing approximately war time casualties, yet they have lost properly over 33,000 insurgents and terrorists in that comparable time. whether we are "making extra" terrorists, which we're not (they technically are making new terrorists to backfill their losses), we are killing them quicker with the aid of fact they lack the journey that the preliminary set of terrorists had, on an identical time as we are GAINING journey the longer we habit those operations. What maximum individuals fail to realize is this war has been occurring (between u . s . and Radical Muslims) considering that President Jefferson's administration. This conflict might have decreased in intensity over the years, yet they have spiked interior the final 30+ years, we purely hadn't been paying lots interest. Now that we are, real battling happens and the loss of life toll get counted. in the previous this war become named and declared (by ability of Congress) the media purely referred to as those terrorist assaults by ability of alternative names (suicide bombings (HAMAS), assassinations (Anwar Sadat), etc.) and the loss of life count extensive type did no longer "count" with the aid of fact it wasn't American lives that have been lost. This ought to be performed. We could win in Iraq.

Hey, there! You have gone too far with your condemnation of the US. We are not a nation that hinges its existence on war. We were attacked. We struck back. As far as Iraq is concerned, let them go screw themselves. Try to give them freedom and they go off and have a civil war between Shiites and Sunnis. The Arabs have been killing each other for centuries, so what is new?
We should have ousted Saddam and left Iraq immediately. No more American lives for so-called freedom for Iraq.

So long as people are inconvenienced by the US just like what is happening in Iraq, terrorism against Americans will increase as vindication for the acts of its country.

The problem in Iraq seems to be Muslims killing each other. How do you blame this on the U.S.
Muslims reading the sicko koran and getting ideas of blowing up stuff and killing people, was around when G.W.Bush was wearing diapers.
