If not, what is this "New Order of the Ages" , Pres. G.W. Bush speaks about: Also, his father spoke of a "New World Order" ?

"When our Founders declared a 'New Order of the Ages'; when soldiers died in wave upon wave for a union based on liberty; when citizens marched in peaceful outrage under the banner "Freedom Now" - they were acting on an ancient hope that is meant to be fulfilled."

I'm British and I'm glad to be represented by a head of state who has intelligence and decorum, yet sometimes I receive comments from Americans who make it sound like having the Queen is a bad thing. I am against having a president because I feel that politicians are unfit to represent a country - all too often they have their own agenda and don't always put their countries' interests first.

Being represented by a monarch doesn't make me any less free. It doesn't mean my voice is any less well heard and taken into account. It doesn't mean I have less say over how the country is run.

Do you all seriously think the Queen still sits in her office making all the decisions and the people just have to follow her word? You do realise don't you that we elect a government to run the country, and we are just as free and democratic as you? Yes the queen has to give royal assent to bills, but royal assent hasnt been refused since Queen Anne, the current Queen has no power.

Get this- the rest of the neighborhood refused to learn to speak German, and no one would hire my grandfather until he learned English. When my grandmother went to the store, she was expected to speak English to the people who worked there.

When my father and his siblings were sent to school, they refused to have special classes or programs to cater to them. They were expected to just learn to speak English and assimilate with their peers.

So, why was everyone else so prejudiced?

The answer is no.
Killing iraqi insurgents only creates more iraqi insurgents, as family members and friends stand up to fight the US.

Someone steals your plasma tv. They go to another city while drunk and try to sell it - but they get caught when the electronics store manager checks their name with the police, and they have a prior criminal record.

However, because there is no central database of stolen goods, you don't get your tv back. Gee, sorry but as a victim you need to travel the country looking in police newspaper notices. No, the police have it, and sell it in an auction -- making money for nicer cars and salaries. Who is shafted? You, the victim. Who benefits? The police.

In some places, like New Zealand, nonviolent criminals commonly escape from jail through windows. Is this really too hard to stop...? Come on and realize that we are allowing tigers to act as gaurd dogs -- the police are part of the theft problem.

Who else? The lawyers and legislators who ignore or fail to understand there is a moral hazard in allowing police funding to depend on the sale of stolen property.

I was there for a wedding last week (first time to ever go, and certainly the last) and was told the newest casion "The Wynn" cost 9 billion to build. Golf courses in the desert? The Colorado River does not rich the Baja penninsula anymore and they are building golf courses in the desert for that much money? 9 billion could cure some serious problems for nations of the third world. You multiply 9 billion by the amount of casinos on the strip, how can you not cry for the world?

When I say appears, as he appears through U.S. media outlets. Why would Noam Chomsky's book shoot to the top of the charts after Chavez presented this book to the UN assembly regarding Bush? Are we an imperialist nation trying to keep as much of the world down as possible so we can sustain our wasteful culture?

Like why does a guy who worked in the WTC report hearing a bomb in the basement before the plane struck? And why is an American company building the World's tallest building in the Middle East one in Dubai(2600ft)and one 3000ft one is planned in Kuwait? And why if it's all about radical Muslims was Osama on our side in the 80's and why did we invade Iraq if we were really chasing Osama because we thought they had weapons when we know Iran might?

"What is the difference between the horror and the violence created by suicide bombers and the horror and the violence created by bombs dropped from 30,000 feet by airplanes?"

Can suicide bombers ever be justified? Professor Honderich, Britain's leading moral philosopher, is unafraid to tell the truth as he sees it. Taking what he says is the betrayal of the Palestinian people as his starting point, Ted reveals who shares moral responsibility for recent acts of terrorism, and points a finger at the politicians.
