Being the only 'superpower' your leader becomes 'our' leader by default. And we are tired of lies, wars and idiots! Please, choose well in the next election(s).

many of theses questions on this site are simple common sense questions. Can someone tell where has common sense gone or is this part of the dumbing down of this nation ?

Old Testament
Deuteronomy

6: If thy brother, the son of thy mother, or thy son, or thy daughter, or the wife of thy bosom, or thy friend, which is as thine own soul, entice thee secretly, saying, Let us go and serve other gods, which thou hast not known, thou, nor thy fathers;
7: Namely, of the gods of the people which are round about you, nigh unto thee, or far off from thee, from the one end of the earth even unto the other end of the earth;
8: Thou shalt not consent unto him, nor hearken unto him; neither shall thine eye pity him, neither shalt thou spare, neither shalt thou conceal him:
9: But thou shalt surely kill him; thine hand shall be first upon him to put him to death, and afterwards the hand of all the people.
10: And thou shalt stone him with stones, that he die; because he hath sought to thrust thee away from the LORD thy God, which brought thee out of the land of Egypt, from the house of bondage.

1. Perpetuating tradition for the sake of tradition (it's been this way for a long time, so it must be good) and pursuing money at all costs.
OR
2. Having a well-rounded and open mind that consistently searches for ways to improve society for the benefit of all humanity.

The first is a definition of conservativism; the second a definition of liberalism.

Screw the Geneva Convention, it only applies to UNIFORMED prisoners of war, not scumbag towelhead psychopaths. I think we should pluck out eyeballs, cut off fingers, anything it takes to get information from these pieces of dung if it saves american lives!

I see the mouse person could hurl insults, one lib could quote scripture out of context, one lib could give a reason to hate republicans, annd yet another one gave an answer that was refuted in another myth.

Liberals are funny, shallow monsters, aren't they?

In a movie released this week called "Jesus Camp" evangelical Christians are shown indoctrinating their children to "die for christ" and affect the American political system to promote their beliefs... Creationism, anti-abortion, anti-homosexual, and pro-American/Christian imperialism. (I think the imperialism is the most dangerous.) I am worried about future persecution of non-Christians and atheists like myself. If we forcibly coerce childrens in public schools to worship God and Christ; isn't this a travesty that undermines the founding principles of this nation?

Seems that if they can ascertain the status of his health or whether he is dead or not, they just may have been able to tell us where the dude was hanging out. Or maybe we just didn't really want to know. The friendships with the Bush's and the Saudi family are long-established...

For God's Sakes! Even Bush himself finally admitted (multiple times) that Saddam Hussein was not affiliated with Al-Qaeda or 9/11!

I bet anything, that those same Americans almost all support Bush too.
You gotta be pretty ignorant right now to think Saddam helped make 9/11 happen!

Before Roe v Wade many states allowed for court ordered abortions for this very specific set of circumstances. A system for quick and condfidential judicial review for terminating these troubled pregancies would ensure the taking of human life has its day in court.

Liberals are once again illogical and totally ignorant. Believe it or not, more to come...

Do you really believe voting machines are "racists"? Some
people say they can be altered. I work in a voting precinct and
I don't see how they could be changed when there is a democrat
and republican there in the room at all times.

Some Christians owned slaves - didn't make it right.

It sad to see that liberals have to blame others to make themselves feel like a decent human? Maybe they're not?
