I am so sick and tired of Republicans saying Clinton did nothing about that issue!
Listen up! i have enlightened too many ignorant people too many times. But i will do it once more.

Clinton led a great anti-terror campaign. At least with Clinton, the ones who were behind the WTC in 93 were caught and arrested. (Ramzi Yousef and his group)

There! Now maybe you people can stop spreading the right-wing rumors that Clinton did nothing against terrorism?

I've have asked certain questions about military matters (as have many others). Some of them might be considered "hard" questions. However, I have noted that some answerers, (mainly those who have been in the military or those who have family in the military) post answers that are extremely rude.
Many seem to assume that the questioner is disrespectful of the military or that whatever we ask is a personal afront. Some seen angry because they assume that the questioner has never seen military action. To them I say that they should remember that every U.S. citizen is not obligated to join our military, albeit perhaps they should be. To them, I also say that you really need to discontinue reading into these very legitimate questions, things that are totally untrue. We are engaged in wars -- Iraq, Afghanistan, a war on terror. Each has far-reaching historical significance. I am looking for answers from a much wider range
than the U S government; from a much wider range, than anger.

I actually took the time to listen to the speeches in thier entirety (WOW )

Nation after nation got up on the podium and said it's America that used uranium bullets it's America that torures people it's the US that wants war etc etc

Tell me , Is Bush guilty of what he accuses others of ?

Is the US using and used chemical weapons in Iraq and other places did it supply Israel with chemical weapons What happened to the acusation that white phosporus was used by Israel on the Lebonese and that those weapons were made in the US .

What about the accusation of Iran that durring the Iraq Iran 80-88 war the US made and sold chemical weapons to Iraq and they were used against Iranian civilians .

And why is it exactly they never covered these remarks in the mass media ???

Now if you want to look at these speeches yourself type in the nation or leaders name "UN" in the video section of Yahoo searches - it's there Will you look ? Probably not - if that is true then why?

A searing heat wave has destroyed or badly damaged many California crops. The heat caused some of the crops to ripen early. With not enough labor to pick them. Yet these farms refused help from other farms-in a rotating labor request.
California dairy farmers witnessed thousands of their cows die. Yet again offers to take the animals from many were refused.
The state also had the worst deficit.
Your cost will go up-this will affect all.
Information can be found--U.S. News-World Reports-And Many Farm Newspapers (please find the not bias ones).

So will they blame this on labor shortage (even though they were offered a solution)?
Is there a political agenda behind this?
How do you feel about it?
Every comment welcome.

Why is it that The US and the West appeared so certain that Saddam Hussein had weapons of mass destruction but in all press reports and discussions as to whether Israel has nuclear weapon capabilities there is always a reluctance to agree that this is the case. So should Israel be subjected to the same pressures as Iran, and if not why not? Does the West have double standards on its Nuclear Proliferation policy or is it simply that the US would not be able to bomb regimes from 4 miles high if they had the capacity to fight back?

If repubs thought hard enough they would realize, just like everyone in washington already knows,
That if women didn't have abortions , there would be such an extreme poverty, unemployment and crime rate that it would be chaos.
We simply can't sustain such a high population without it being curbed somehow, there are not enough jobs for them in this country and if REpubs would have it their way,
there would also not be any government safety nets to help them.
Basically, they want children to keep popping out at astounding rates--more than they are already!!! and have the children starving on the street? Why? So you can call their mother a welfare queen and tell them to get a job?
What's next? bring back child labor?

Some respondents from my previous question didn't know that the Bush administration was anti-science.

Read this;

http://www.ucsusa.org/news/press_release/preeminent-scientists-protest-bush-administrations-misuse-of-science.html

Nobel laureates from across the political spectrum (including those who have served in previous Republican administrations) signed this letter.

But I guess you'll dismiss it because, well, you don't need a reason do you?

Do you think that once that was proven wrong, they might have wanted to keep the government grant money coming in and so now, we have GLOBAL WARMING. What a joke !! Another invention of screemin al gore.

Of course, another attack on U.S. soil could be avoided. But now with the "war on terror" creating more terrorist breeding grounds, and the escalating tensions with Iran and Venezuela...you never know.
Would anyone still love Bush if he was unable to protect us against a new attack?

Hey everyone! I have a quick question and maybe someone could help me with it. I was in the Army, stationed at Fort Drum. Met my husband in the same company and everything. But I got out because I was pregnant and I didn't want our baby girl to have both parents in the military. I got out before my 4 yrs was up, and myquestion is: can I still salute to the flag? I'm I considered a veteran or not? I was listening to a school band play and tried to fight the urge to salute because I'm not sure. The military theme popped back in my mind and I went to position of attention just out of routine I'm guessing.
Thanks
