I dont like picking up the tab for the Government does anybody out here? ...I think that they are corrupt enough and one gentleman on here that replied is right....Free Trade!!!! It has blown up in the Governments face and now we as citizens are having to pay ..a high cost at that ...dont know about you guys but me and my Husband are not rich but we do make ends meet with our children ..but it would be alot better if we didnt have to pay for immigrants college fund too! Bad enough we have to pay for criminals over here in prison . My question was to ask if I was wrong for thinking that way...not saying it was going to happen ...One girl was right that replied also ..I was just stating my opinion on how it would make it easier for everyone. BTW we dont have on a say how the money is spent with the Government..All I was saying is that if they are going to give the money away why not just give it to Mexico..I really dont see why both governments and the Mexican people dont work at it.

yes it would be nice, but seeing as how don't live in the land of puppy dogs and fairy tales, we are forced to accept the reality that the United states is split down the middle and is ultimately going to have to choose, as all modern day nations are going to be forced to do:

will we head towards a progressive half-socialist nation in the foundation of canada and sweden

or towards a fundamentalist borderline third world s**t-hole like iran where instead of spending our excess on social programs we spend it on military and propaganda.

A friend of mine re enlisted about 1 year ago and in her contract she gets one semester of school. He NCO won't let her take the semester. Does anyone know her rights when it comes to this situation? How long before it expires (if it does)? If she PCS's will she still have her school option? And please give the regulation so we have something solid to take to the First Sergeant. Thanks

I really like Bush and how he has lead our country but the number 1# Reason is:

I'm attending a meeting later this month and need some ideas to put to the Commitee---hate the term--- about.

County Growth for the next 15 to 20 years
Infrastructure
Land - water -sewer issues
Transportation
Zoning -- None exist

The county I live in is unique in that the population has grown 11% since 2000, per stats, and is growing by leaps and bounds that the government is blind to. We are a shopping hub and draw from 3 states on the weekends and our population is bursting at the seams. I need some help with ideas on how to control growth and still let my neighbors live without the tax base ballooning to such an extent they can't afford to pay their taxes and are forced to sell. I've seen it happen!
