Why do you call each other that? You're americans and to people from other places, it looks rediculas when you deride each other over suposedly being more concerned about something or other when you're realy both as bad as each other!?

Do you guy not have a third party in the makings?

There is only a finite amount money to be donated to the major political parties. The Republicans and Democrats jealously guard their sources of funding like a mother bear defending her cub. They crush any third party attempts at becoming a legitimate threat to them and put the staus quo in peril.

They would willing share the power, but the money is off limits.

Democrats and Republican are the only two parties that has had complete control over the senate and govt. There are third parties but they have never been elected, such as the Liberal Party, Green party, Independent Party and so on and so forth,

We are all Americans, which means we need to try to affect our nation in a positive way, and since our nation's leaders affect the way we live, we should be concerned about who are the leaders and what they stand for. Conservatives are not bad, there may be some that look bad but a true conservative is not bad. They just want our country to stay how it has been since its creation. Liberals think our country hasn't been doing things right for the last 230 or so years, and think we need to take away guns, murder babies, and allow guys to marry guys and girls to marry girls.

They both suck but they use all the power to squash any intelligent and useful 3rd party from coming in because they would look like inbred cousins next to anyone else....not that I'm bitter or anything

yes we do it is the Independent Party but hardly no one ever wins from that party
