A guy (kingStubborn) just answered one of my questions:

http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AgSp16UHihuFLWQuzggRlAnsy6IX?qid=20060830114358AAYcap6

and he brings up a good point, if Bush get's impeached, Cheney will be President not that it would make much difference but to give him legitimate power is the damn best reason I've heard to keep Bush in charge. No Impeachment, Keep Bush.

Why don't we just give the Jews half of Nevada and make everyone happy? Our beloved Jews will be closer to us, the Arabs won't get mad at us, the world will become terror-free and everyone will live happily ever after!

A VIGNETTE FROM THE PAST
Remember this news story: "..... Attorney General John Ashcroft ordered the semi-nude statue of the Spirit of Justice covered with drapes that, according to an Associated Press story, cost American taxpayers some $8,000.
Miss Spirit is a 10- to 12-foot statue that was sculpted in the 1930s and sits in the Great Hall of the Department of Justice. She wears a toga and sits with a single breast exposed."

Looking back, don't you wish they had covered Ashcroft's face instead? That's the question.

Every time I turn on the evening news, he amazes me with his ability to act like a moron. How did this guy get reelected? Was it simply sypmathy vote or what? I can't understand how any N.O. resident could have pulled a lever for this guy. Anybody from that part of the world, please respond and explain it to me?

I have someone very close to me who is getting ready to head overseas in the next week or so. I'm definitely staying as positive as I can, despite the whole situation, and he's very positive as well. Deep down, I'm absolutely nervous and scared about him going over there. I just wanted to know for the people who have been over there, what were your experiences like? All the news ever shows is the negative side to things, and I do hear positive aspects of things that are going on over there. Was it difficult for you or your family member to cope with being back home? Did you experience any PTSD or anything of that nature. Share your thoughts, or if you have family members who have been in Iraq.

Which one upsets you more and which one do you think is worse for America?

I think US companies closing down US offices to employ others doing the same service overseas is a bigger problem personally, it weakens our US economy and strengthens our competitors but companies don't care because they make more money in the end. Think of all the companies outsourcing to India RIGHT NOW......those were AMERICAN jobs, but do we hold them accountable for their actions and the effect on our economy....no we don't. SO next time you get upset thinking about jobs being TAKEN be aware of the greatest perpatrators of this.....our American Corporations.

When did free citizenship of another nation became a human right? Do we have the right to deport illegals? Or would that be against thier "human" rights?..I know it would be legal under American law.

I was thinking about how someone renamed french fires to freedom fries and then back to french fries because of the French govt. stance on iraq and their contribution to the cease fire in israel/lebanon. What I find funny is that people actually supported this, why didn't they change everything then, you know Freedom kiss, Freedom toast, pardon my freedom, Freedom tickler, Freedom maid and so on. I just thought it was funny how a mindset of people come up with some dumb ideas.
