No way in ....

Seriously, just listen to Bush Jr speak for 30 seconds. Also remember how he didn't even know who the world leaders were in that interview in 1999. He was hand selected by Cheney and Rumsfeld then pruned by Rove to be elected.

There have been pleny of family members that go into politics and of course that always gives them a little pull; but, in this situation, that was ALL the man had. The only reason he was elected governor of Texas was because Daddy was president.

Did you know that he demands a list of all questions that are going to be ask before a press conference. If a reporter doesn't give his questions, he is not allowed in. If a reporter asked a different question, he is not allowed to come back. Bush is a moron.

If Bush 1 weren't Bush 2's dad, Bush 2 would be flipping burgers somewhere.

Yes he would have been elected, because he had the money to finance a good campaign, he made all of the right promises (most not kept), and by that point, EVERYONE was so fed up with the lies Clinton (Bill) was making ("I did not have sexual relations with that woman") so they were just wanting a fresh start away from the democrats, since by that point, Clinton had proven that he had no path he was following (I mean, Clinton was being handed Bin Laden by another country who temporarily had him in custody, and Clinton said "There is no real threat with Bin Laden" and Clinton refused to take him.) And that is not to mention the cigar incident with Monica Lewinski, and all of his womanizing trysts.

SO yes, Bush (W), would have been elected because the majority just wanted to get rid of Clinton.

The same can be said of little miss Hilary Clinton. Would she have become Senator of New York, where she never lived before if she was not Bill's better half. Also, would she even be considered as the Democratic nominee for '08 for the same reason.

Yes.....but the question I want to know is....if you whack job liberals selected Screamin' Howard Dean rather than John F'in Kerry. Would there be a democrat in the Oval Office?
That is a HUGE conspiracy! I thought Dean was the messiah? If I were the liberals I'd be looking into how he lost all the caucuses!

Sure, if he'd otherwise been the GOP candidate. Why wouldn't he have been? Not sure what connection you make between who is dad was an that he was elected.

Now, if his dad wasn't who he was, then I'd say his life would surely have been very different and nobody can say what he'd be doing now.

Nope. I don't think so either. He sure wasn't elected for being a smart man with smart ideas.
