Which one upsets you more and which one do you think is worse for America?
I think US companies closing down US offices to employ others doing the same service overseas is a bigger problem personally, it weakens our US economy and strengthens our competitors but companies don't care because they make more money in the end. Think of all the companies outsourcing to India RIGHT NOW......those were AMERICAN jobs, but do we hold them accountable for their actions and the effect on our economy....no we don't. SO next time you get upset thinking about jobs being TAKEN be aware of the greatest perpatrators of this.....our American Corporations.

Equally sh1tty circumstances. Neither should be happening. But American corporations want to make as big a profit as they can, so they hire illegals for cheap wages, and outsource American jobs to foreign countries for cheap wages. Either way, the corporations come out ahead and us hard-working Americans get the shaft again. I get so p1$$ed off when I call HP customer service and get stuck on the phone with someone who can't speak understandable english.

I think I get what you're trying to say. It would seem better on the surface to just have to deal with illegals taking our jobs here, because presumably we still have a chance at getting those same jobs. But we do not. Not if the company has a secret unwritten policy of exploiting cheap labor sources. And many of the illegals coming here want more than our jobs. And get more quite often. So I'd have to say the invasion of illegal aliens upon our soil is the biggest threat. However, I still think it should be illegal to close down our companies here just to take advantage of cheap foreign labor in other countries.

I agree both. I have been affected 3 times with my employment. All the work was sent to China twice and Mexico once. These were high paying jobs and my present company just sent two VP's to China for a month so I'm thinking in another year I will be unemployed again. At all four of these companies the workers were treated like crap and there were people at each location that had been loyal to each company for over thirty years. Basically it was wham, bam, thank you ma'am.

Tough question. Illigals come in and have an effect on the wages of good paying jobs where as companies move jobs to cheap labor countries which takes away jobs. Which makes me think that illigals make to much because if they were payed less the jobs would stay here but no one would want those jobs because they pay to little and create a whole class of poor people which is a burden on our society but are they anymore of a burden than the people who have lost there jobs to cheap forgien labor. I don't know.

If illegals work in the US and get paid here they will spend that money here, fueling our economy were the vast majority is legal (you and I). If we kick out the illegals the majority of the jobs they perform here will be outsourced to Mexico, Chile, Argentina and Brazil. Once the jobs have been outsourced there the money we spend on the products they make will stay OVER THERE, fueling THEIR economy.

i think it is worse for the government to send jobs over seas.. teh only reason theya re sending them there is so they don't have to pay such high wages. and the idea that they are taking away jobs from their own citizens is really horrible.. the peopel in the us needs jobs as well.. but in the same sense i guess they wouldn't ahve to if the people ehre weren't so lazy and actualy gave a damn abotu holding a job (not to say that all ppl dont'..... but i coudl name alot that don't)
in any event.. if illegal imigrants want to go to another countryt o find work. it hink they should be allowed.... why not.. a person is jsut a person... who cares were your born!

You are exactly right about the American corporations.... but our country endorses those actions...
but I think our jobs being sent out of the country is the worse..... when the welfare is stopped for illegals they will leave... but our jobs will never come back...

Sending jobs overseas is the worst. Tax revenue made by local companies contribute a lot, regardless of the status of their workers.

Illegals taking our jobs is inexcusable...US company's going over seas is legal and and part of free market competition.
If illegals want to come in through the front door ...let'em have any job they can qualify for.
