Was there ever a case in the 230 years that the United States has been a country where we discarded the results of the primaries because the candidates that were nominated just werent strong enough?

Terrorists admitted to doing it, because of our culture, values and in part, because of our support for Israel. If they're bragging about it and threatening to do it again, then why are Americans--of all people!--creating these outlandish conspiracy theories? Why would our government want to commit financial suicide? The economy is eroding since. Try me on this, I haven't been convinced yet.

Doesn't it sound more like a "scare tactic" to keep Americans afraid and maleable to government imperialism?

Does anyone else think this past primary elections were just practice? I thought it was odd that we're having primaries when throughout the history of the country the primaries didnt occur until the year before the election. I also thought it was odd that each party only has one candidate each when during the elections of 2000 and 2004 there were multiples from each party. Could this have anything to do with the low media coverage of whatever is going on. By the way, why in the fvck would they have a primary with such mediocre candidates and exclude Hillary Clinton and Condoleezza Rice?

Here's the latest from Catherine Harris, in an interview with "The Florida Baptist Witness":

1. "If Christians are not elected, politicians will "legislate sin," including abortion and gay marriage."

2. "God is the one who chooses our rulers."

3. "If you're not electing Christians, then in essence you are going to legislate sin."

This raises the common-sense question: If God chooses our rulers, why bother voting at all? And how can politicians "legislate sin" if they're chosen by God?

Are people blind, or because the majority are evil they blind the remaining? How can this world be sane if the only country that used the nuclear bomb is setting stage on who should and shouldn't possess the bomb... How come people accuse Islam of being a violent religion while throughout history most of the crimes made against man were made by Christian hands until today.... How did the Jewish community convince Germany to pay them large amounts of money for the contreversial holocaust while many genocides were made against other religions and they didn't get a penny... How come people believe that Israel is victimized while it has plenty of nuclear heads and it's killing Arabs all the time yet people say it's endangered by its neighbors... How did we believe in America that we're in Iraq to spread democracy after the WMD lie was exposed while the whole world knows we're there to steal their oil...
if you can answer all these questions, or some, please do.

A huge bunker just 30 meters from the Lebanon /Israel border was built under the noses of UN "Observers." What were they doing? Observing? Did they not have a mandate to DOanything with the information after observing?

Here's this guy, an obvious conservative who goes around bashing liberals, calling them names, insulting them and then he poses this question (see below).
Is this the face of the Republican Party or is this something they would prefer to hide?

(For the minorities) (not that all of you are poor)

You ever notice how the democrats only give enough to keep you dependant?
(originally said by David C)

How they never try to find long term solutions to poverty?

Yet they tell you how much good they could do you if it werent for the republican's?

How much time do they spend portraying republican's as greedy moguls?

Gets you thinking doesn't it?
Maybe someones putting on a front?

Katherine Harris, the person who certiffied the Florida presidential vote in 2000, is running for the US senate. Here is a recent quote.
"If you are not electing Christians, tried and true, under public scrutiny and pressure, if you're not electing Christians then in essence you are going to legislate sin. They can legislate sin. They can say that abortion is alright. They can vote to sustain gay marriage. And that will take western civilization, indeed other nations because people look to our country as one nation as under God and whenever we legislate sin and we say abortion is permissible and we say gay unions are permissible, then average citizens who are not Christians, because they don't know better, we are leading them astray and it's wrong."
She also said the seperation of church and state is a lie we have been told in order to keep religious people out of government. What do you think?

When will people realize that the reason Bush’s numbers are so low is because CONSERVATIVES are not happy and feel betrayed.
Those on the left who didn’t vote for Bush have never approved of anything he’s done, and would never have approved of anything he could have done.
Bush’s numbers are down because he’s been weak on controlling government growth and spending, being too soft on the war on terror, being soft on illegal immigration, and not letting the military crush the “insurgent” terrorists in Iraq. Shock and Awe never should have stopped.

(please no knee-jerk bashing, hate, or ad hominem attacks)
