How can anyone believe the "war on terror" is real when Bush insists the borders stay wide open?

Just because he's been too slow to deal with border issues doesn't mean the war on terror isn't real. I don't know how anyone could say the war on terror isn't real after 9-11.

Who are the real terrorists? If people would start to practise there own critical thinking skills rather than be controlled by media moguls who are in reality brain washing the public. The real news never seems to get reported, and if it did there would be anarchy. Live on the Larry King show on CNN, Barbara Bush, the mother of the President threatened the Democratic candidates with death if they criticized the president or her husband or any of her children. The explosive remarks would have been front page news throughout the country had Hillary Clinton said them, but since it is from the Bush matriarch there is a deafening silence throughout the entire American press regarding this chilling comment. This is evidence of the massive fear and control mechanisms which have permeated into every facet of American establishment. There is no stopping the Bushes. Soon there will be blatant assassinations of political opponents in broad daylight and there will be no mention of them at all. This is America's darkest hour. There should be a chill down the spines of every thinking person in the world regarding this horrendous threat to all of humanity from the Bush family.

The war of terror can not be abolished if human beings are still quarelling and tempting by satans.War of terror can be avoided while there are many people doing bad things and treating others who is disliked as an enemy.
The borders can be closed by a high walls like in Berlin but war of terror will be exist until the end of this world,if there is no good neighbour policy.

Because border security has nothing to do with terrorists entering the country. Terrosists have no trouble entering the USA legally.

There are also enough trucks going up & down our freeways, hauling WMD components, that no-one even has to smuggle stuff into the USA.

Mix up your amonia & bleach & fly a crop-duster down the Las Vegas Strip on New YEars eve & spray a few hundred thousand people with mustard gas - how hard is that ? Or just fire off a pipe bomb in Time Square on New Years eve - there are many different ways of killing thousands of Americans, that do NOT rely on open borders.


Personally, I live in Arizona, where as many as 10% of the population are illegal aliens. So I would like the boder more secure. But I don't delude myself into thinking that it means anything at all, in the "war on terror".

terror is a tactic,not an enemy.The USs' enemys use terror because they are desperate to be heard.they were totally ignored by the American people,even after the first WTC bombing back in the 90s!they wanted Americans to wake up to what their(corperate) leaders were doing to them(taking over governments,and privetising their resources).Because they knew(apparently they were wrong) that the good american people wouldn't stand for such shabby treatment of them by their government.well,when they awoke the giant,The neocon "leaders" whipped the masses up into a hate and racist frenzie,and were able to start fake wars and shut down the "rights" of the people here at home,all the while making a nice fat profit off the war crimes they commit.The wars they start breed more terrorist,so they need to SPEND more on defence.to them it is a win win situation.The American people and thier children are the ones who pay.In blood and taxes.Who are the real terrorists? do you feel safer?probably not.as they like to keep us scared.they are the ones using fear as a tool.open your eyes people!

It has crossed my mind. Reminds me of some kind of Orwellian thing. However, I do think that there is a different agenda, started under Bush 41, concerning Mexico. I can see the day coming when Canada/USA/Mexico become something akin to the Union of North America.
