Winston Churchill had the vision to see what Hitler was up to, and had the guts to fight him, despite the fact that most of the English and other nations had blinders on and thought they could appease the Nazis. At one time many Englishmen had no faith in Churchill. Later they came to understand.
George W. Bush may well go down in history as a second Winston Churchill.
Hey "Imhm2004", where did you get the nutty idea that Golda Meir and Pope John Paul II weren't conservatives?

Fidel had a sincere vision for Cuba. Where he went awry was knowing his vision could never be attained, because Communism does not work. And instead of admitting his vision was wrong he went the way of most narcissists, he became blinded my his power and in doing so betrayed his people and ruined a prosperous Nation.
My vote for the best world Leader of all time would have to be Winston Churchill.

Vladimir Ilych Ulanov (Vladimir Lenin)
who doesnt like lenin? the greatest revolutionary of all times. he is so passionate about equality, he is patient and waits for opportunities to come and when they do come he seizes them well. he attempted to pull all the peasants in Russia out of poverty and allowed criticism in his own party. Lenin is someone that you know is not selfish, he was born fairly well of but because he stood for equality he led a communist revolution to aide those in need of desperate money and those that were getting exploited by the kulaks.
i love fidel castro too. he freed cubans from the corrupt batista regime that sympathasized with the US and allowed drugs and alcohol to flow freely into Cuba. and after the USSR collapsed cuba's energy supply and all her resources went tumbling with the USSR and Cuba virtually had no food nor energy. Under Castro's regime, he managed to reverse that.
long live castro and.... well i cant say long live lenin cause he is already dead but... yeah...

Bill Clinton. He was a magnificent leader and an extremely smart man. Did he have some faults, sure. But, America enjoyed one of, if not the most prosperous period in its history under his leadership. We had the support of the rest of the world, we had budget surpluses, and unemployment was lower than ever.

Bill Clinton. Mainly due to the fact that he actuallyed admited he screwed up when he was caught, rather than burying it or countinuously lying.
I admire someone who admits they made a mistake. Especially a politic.
