When will people realize that the reason Bush’s numbers are so low is because CONSERVATIVES are not happy and feel betrayed.
Those on the left who didn’t vote for Bush have never approved of anything he’s done, and would never have approved of anything he could have done.
Bush’s numbers are down because he’s been weak on controlling government growth and spending, being too soft on the war on terror, being soft on illegal immigration, and not letting the military crush the “insurgent” terrorists in Iraq. Shock and Awe never should have stopped.
(please no knee-jerk bashing, hate, or ad hominem attacks)

Approval ratings are always a very interesting animal, it depends on who is conducting the tests, and how the results are read. That being said, do remember that directly after the Sept. 11 attacks, President Bush had one of the highest approval ratings of any president ever. It is hypothetically impossible for him to have remained at that level, and who knows what the history books will say.

People who still like Bush will automatically disagree with you. People who never liked Bush will be screaming "we said so" and people who started out liking him and then saw him for what he really is will understand your question.
His approval has gone down not only because of the things he has done but a lot because of the things he has NOT done. And either way in a little under 2 years we no longer have to put up with him. Lets cross out fingers that both sides (Reps and Dems or conservatives and liberals however you want to put it) pick some half way decent people to run next term so we have a better chance of getting a decent person in office.

How can people still hang on to him. It is true that conservatives do not like him. Some people just have no opinions on anything so they just follow Bush. They need to learn when to get off the train. I once supported him but he's never done anything for the people who put him there.

The "War on Terror" has done nothing but destablise the world and has significantly increased the number attacks against us and our allies. Has this moron done anything right? Now they are trying to hide the facts once again.

Pro Bush here. Love him. Would'nt and couldn't even begin to fill his shoes.
People need to check the records of Clinton. Clinton deployed more troop than any other President. Do we hear anything about that.

I approve. He is weak on illegal immigration but that's not why I voted for him.

Well, maybe because they haven't asked me. I still approve of the job he is doing. I'm still glad I voted for him.
