Here's the latest from Catherine Harris, in an interview with "The Florida Baptist Witness":
1. "If Christians are not elected, politicians will "legislate sin," including abortion and gay marriage."
2. "God is the one who chooses our rulers."
3. "If you're not electing Christians, then in essence you are going to legislate sin."
This raises the common-sense question: If God chooses our rulers, why bother voting at all? And how can politicians "legislate sin" if they're chosen by God?

To shut up dummy, who said
"i bet if your brain swelled up overnight it would be about the size of a peanut"
That's not very loving or forgiving. I wonder how Jesus feels about that remark?
Nevertheless, I love you and forgive you. May our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ have mercy on your troubled soul.

I see other conservative Christians aren't very loving or forgiving either - look at the negative votes for a question about actual quotations from a fellow Christian!
I love and forgive them too, and ask that our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ have mercy on their troubled souls.

UPDATE:
To BOB, who said "You are a Liberal, pretending to be a Christian, in order to discourage Christians from voting, so that Liberal Democrats can win in '06 and '08. Please stop using Jesus for your selfish political desires."
Do liberals have to pretend to be Christians? No. They can be Christians just as well as conservatives can. The suggestion that Liberals must pretend to be Christians is pure, intolerant bias.
BOB, please stop using Christianity for your selfish political desires. You are hurting Jesus by doing so.
I love you and forgive you.

Why bother voting? How do you think God works? He's given us free will. In my opinion, that means we decide our own destinies. God has given us the tools to decide for ourselves what our fate should be, and because of other gifts (conscience, the bible, etc) He knows more often then not that we will make the right choices. Though it seems lately that most people are choosing not to exercise their free will, so they go along with the crowd and we get idiots like Bush and this Harris lady in government. I tend to consider it a test of faith. After sin is reflection, enlightenment, then atonement. Bush = Sin. The current anti-war sentiment= reflection. Hopefully better voting would = enlightenment. And if all goes well, a better government would = atonement. At least that's how I think of it.

Well the same Christians (I am a Christian too) who claimed Bush was made President by God circulated petitions to remove Gray Davis from California's Governorship. Talk about hypocrisy.

1 God(Allah) has given Man free will as well as guidance (Islam being the final and complete message) to see if We will use our free will to worship him the way he has instructed us:
Allah(God) has said in the Quran: I only created jinn and man to worship Me. (Qur'an, 51:56)
2.God(Allah) is Just. In 18:66-82 of the Quran is the story of Moses and how God(Allah) taught him a lesson. In the story what Moses or anyone that would witness events that they may perceive as "evil" is explained.
In short "Why something happens whether we perceive it as "good" or "evil" is beyond our knowledge". It is only for us to obey God(Allah) to the best of our ability and to attribute All events as Gods will.Good or Not
3.Your vote doesn't count anyway regardless of who you vote for.
the electorial college will decide the president. Popular vote is a mass hypnosis trick to make the public feel as if they actually contributed. I am amazed at how this is taught even in college and still noone has spoke out against the e.c..

Why does everything get blamed on God? He gave us free will choice - we can either take the high road or the low road. Seems like humanity is in the gutter.
