I have been mulling this over for a while now. What do "We the People" do when the people "WE" elect don't represent the majority? What do we do when "money" wins the heart of our "Elected Voice"? The most common answer I have recieved was (Elect someone else next term), but what happens when money wins them over as well? At what point do "We the People" have a voice, and when we don't (like right now) what are we willing to do about it?

NORAD had drills of jets as weapons
One of the imagined targets was the World Trade Center. In another exercise, jets performed a mock shootdown over the Atlantic Ocean of a jet supposedly laden with chemical poisons headed toward a target in the United States. In a third scenario, the target was the Pentagon — but that drill was not run after Defense officials said it was unrealistic, NORAD and Defense officials say.

At 16 she was raped, at 17 she became a mother, her parents supported her and child. At 18 she has no diploma because of a child and filed for assistance who stated that she could only get it if she revealed father, she still didn't get it, but now they are going after him for child support and his family is making threats as is he for custody. What can be done as the police state now it is just he said she said and will be hard to prove. He does drugs and lives very close. The concern is for that of the girl and the baby. Any ideas anyone?

They SAY they are for this war - with their votes FOR it in Congress...THEN they show up on TV bashing our President and saying we should not be in Iraq.

THEY voted for the war (before they voted against it).

It was one of the first things I picked up as a bright 2nd grader. My Kindergarten teacher told me that I could teach the class. I could most likely teach the liberal population many things back in my younger years. I know I could figure out my gender.

A Liberal is someone who looks ahead and not behind, someone who welcomes new ideas without rigid reactions, someone who cares about the welfare of the people -- their health, their housing, their schools, their jobs, their civil rights, and their civil liberties -- someone who believes we can break through the stalemate and suspicions that grip us in our policies abroad, if that is what they mean by a "Liberal," then I'm proud to say, I am a "Liberal".

I hate how people defend this guy, theres few hugo-supporters in this section of yahoo but they are out there.

Truth about Hugo chavez through my own research:
Hes anti-semetic (says, "jews control everything")
He loves islamic terroist (speaks to iranian officials)
Hates america and all capitalism (when columbia elected a president that liked america, he loaded tropps on the border)

and i could go on and on but I won't (see previous rants). Here is a guy that complains aobut US getting involved in other nations yet he persuades peru and columbia to try to vote for his guys in there.

I was in the reserves and I got an other than honorable discharge. Now that I look back I think the biggest reason that I couldn't stay in was because of emotional problems caused by a situation that happened at bootcamp. I wasn't even thinking about that at the time of my discharge because I blocked it all out.

it seems to me that since our present political system is controlled by politics within the belt way it certaintly makes sense to find a canidate from out side and show our present politicians we want america and our people first, and I don't mean our rich oil conglormates or corporate swindlers, (the people) s third party could turn things around and listen to the people instead of taking away their money for their own interst and our freedom,so it will be entirely up to the people to choose or if they are so ignornant they think the next dem or rep will be different, this would be a good forum to use to get a grass roots organization started, or support some independant party which can't be any worse than what we have. folks if you really are concerned that we came in , i 6th place this year in technolgy, we were 1st and so many other areas where we have grown weak in because of our weak and selfish political system, America should be leading the world not the underdog, PLEASE

I used to be a Republican, I believe in their message but under Bush and this Republican ruled Congress I see what they so is not the same as what they preach. My question is this, lately you hear alot of Republicans switching sides and planning to vote Democrat. You don't hear a big movement with Democrats turning Republican. Doesn't this make you question and investigate why we ex-Republican's jump ship?
